Petition: Right-Click B-List

i agree with 1 and 2, automatically sending to jail i do not, but automatically adding to a list to review while not inconveniencing the player that i could get behind (someone has 1000 people blacklisting him, he might warrant a review)

How bout if staff members of the game spent some time in game and perma-banned/suspended sellers as they are caught in the act

part of the problem is the number of RMT spamming in each zone, multiplied against each server

This is a feature we shouldn't need. SE should step up and address the spam problem rather than making us deal with it every time we go into a new zone.

I disagree, I think adding someone to my blacklist who is harassing me whether it be gil sellers or some jerk should be as easy as possible. It's unintuitive to have to pull up a menu then select the proper screen to have to add them to my black list. Even if SE deals with the gil sellers in one fell swoop you'll never know if you'll run into a troller or someone who legitimately is bothering you.

At the very least I wish I could right click - copy name so it makes it easier to black list these guys. >_<;;

Shouldn't need? Convenience is never a bad thing. There's no point in not having it.

Blisting whispers is easy, /blist add <r>, it's the constant spam in shout and yell that's annoying

Idk if anyone is adding on to this suggestion or not, but I kinda wish they would take all the crap OFF of right click.

If I right click someone I shouldn't have to see "Invite to Linkshell 1" "Invite to Linkshell 2" all the way down to Linkshell 7 and Free Company, and Invite to Party, Request Meld, Emote, Trade...holy crap.

Jesus.... I DON'T WANT ALL THAT CRAP ON RIGHT CLICK.

Blacklist/Friendlist, yes. Invite to LSs or FC? NO. Party? NO. Meld? NO (incorporate that crap into TRADE, which is fine on Right Click)...

It's currently more than a hassle for 'real' players to block/ignore the gold sellers. I agree that, nowadays, any MMO should have this feature easily accessible.

For the purposes of getting this thread some attention from the devs...

One thing to keep in mind when you're reporting the RMT -- report the WEBSITE they advertise as well. That will direct SE right to the spammers' doorsteps.

Another option to discourage RMT would be to have all gil transactions of greater than a given amount (say, 100k+), from one account to another, pend and require GM approval before they complete.

On top of this (if someone has already said it I apologize) there should also be a context menu "report" option.

Going into the contact us cheating area to report is a pain right now. I still do it because I want these people to have to get new accounts when they're banned, but it's a pain.

Surely they knew gold spammers were going to be in the game...Do they not spam gold selling in Japan?

ADDing a Blist option when you right click a name both personally or in chat, sure thing should have been added from the get go.

How about this: When GM looks at the case closely when someone has been jailed and GM finds that he is jailed for no good reason, GM gives 2 weeks ban to all who involved in jailing him.

I believe the official response was SE concluded the fan base was so stupid that we were likely to accidentally blist list all our friends, not be able to figure out how to remove blisted friends, and thus forced into seclusion for the rest of our days

I'd like to know well, since I've heard a couple of ppl mention this rumor. Either way SE seems to turned a new leaf lately listening to request albeit it requires a large numbers of likes to gain recognition.

I would love for the menu when clicking their names to add a blacklist function. These gil sellers have some awful names and then I have to write it down then type it, it's a huge waste of time and my game play. If I don't blacklist the zone spammers then I have to change chat tabs and can't use chat function, it I don't blacklist the /tells then they keep sending them until I do....

I wholeheartedly support this and believe their explanation as to why this is not already ingame is absolutely absurd.

It may have been mentioned, but i'd love a right click to "report spam" in addition to Blist, especially if that didn't add to my blist limit. I'm close to 100 on my blist, and it if keeps up like this, i'll be full before the end of the month, and really don't look forward to the spam. :\

They should add a chat filter, and make it able to be shared with the community. block some sentences/words.

Nifty idea on paper. Unfortunately no matter what terms you set to block out the RMT scum will just find another way of saying it. Even if they have to resort to complete gibberish, which many have already anyways.

For example block the term "com" and they'll say Com, COM, c0m, cxm, xxx, etc instead.

As for the right click report/blist, /signed. Also make an auto fill for report, filling in your current server/zone/date automatically. Should have been there in the first place.

lol that shit is funny but the first thing i did when i started the game and saw the first spam bot i right click the name and was deeply disappointed by not being able to BList that way.

This is where my ex FC member got this stupid "ban player on 500 bl's" idea. The first option is neat though.
