Can't imagine why lol
I wonder if there is away for us to report afkers. Today I saw tons of them. Hiding in cracks between rocks and sitting in towns.
not too horribly worried about it, I just like to voice my opinion, if people want to hate on me because of that then they are welcome to it
10 error-ridden days and am only getting 7 days of free playtime. The math does not add up. They should throw in a free moogle hat (oh wait...I have one of those...
I'm waiting to see because they said the problems in Beta would be fixed for EA and they weren't. Then they said the problems in EA would be fixed by launch and they weren't. So I've waited 10 days for them to fix the problems, some of which span back to beta, so I can enjoy the game without the login and character creation restrictions. Will they get it right this time? I doubt it but we'll see.
This game is really worth the patience it needs to make all the servers being able to serve this totally overcrowded for now but KEEP the Faith after all its all the fun you will be getting during 10 years and more !
Maybe because people used to receive quality service for which they have paid for?
Imagine yourself in a situation, when you bought something in a shop and can't receive your goods. You are told to return tomorrow. You are returning another day and they are saying you the same thing, and next day and another one.
How long will you keep coming for your goods? :D
Great, now i can't enter the game anymore. Receiving an error - "you are still logged into the game" :D
Just stop with this. You're right, the game is worth the wait (for now). The problem is that the game is supposed to be live and fully functional, or at least issues that come up should be dealt with quickly. They aren't. These are all issues that should be addressed in betas. MMO's stress test their servers for a reason. They shove as many people they can at the infrastructure in order to identify and resolve as many networking issues as they can prior to release. SE never did this. Phase 4 could have been a stress test, but instead of working to resolve the issues quickly as they arose during the Phase 4 beta people were simply locked out of the game completely. It is a great game, but piss poor hardware/infrastructure and that should have been addressed well before release. People have all the right in the world to be upset about how this release went because it is obvious the proper steps weren't taken in beta's in order to minimize the issues we're seeing now.
I'm also not saying I would expect SE to have identified and fixed all of these issues in the short time span between Phase 4 and early access, but I also don't think it would have been uncalled for to delay that Early Access/Release date a week in order to alleviate a lot of the problems that could have been identified with a proper stress test. Most people are fairly understanding and also sometimes appreciative of companies that will delay a release for another week following a beta test in order to reduce frustration upon the game going live. I would venture to guess we would be seeing a fraction of the amount of frustration/venting/complaining on forums right now from people upset over a delay compared to what we're seeing right now.
