Sorry this game came out a year ago also the beta and EA were not working they never should have put this game out with this many issues sorry but if saying your going to sue push's them to do something other then say sorry I am in it dose not matter what the agreement says when 6milllon people all join a class action lawsuit. I dont need people to be like oh its new give it time its opening week sorry bro only thing new about this game is the cover art. I am not talking about full worlds here i am talking about game breaking severs and 0 support for NA/EU with error after error
well I would have to say yes and no, only because he/she would have had to enter their mommy and daddys credit card so they gave their permission. essentially the kid would not be liable but the parents would be of said contract if it was legal in the first place!
i am following this thread just for the heck of it~
I would surmise that your legal remedy in America, if you so seek, would be to return your game for a refund under the UCC. If and when they decline to take your game back, that is when you probably can bring a lawsuit to recover the cost of the game and any fees you incur bringing suit. If you hold on to the game and ultimately continue playing it when the issues are resolved, I would argue that you waived such rights.
I am guessing that Sony will extend the free month of play time a little to make up for all of these issues. I doubt they fail to recognize that people are frustrated and that it is hurting their consumer base. If they don't, they will lose some paying customers, including myself.
My 2 cents.
Edit: On that note, I just got into the queue after 3 hours. Coincidence? haha
he's doing a pretty good job of making himself look like an idiot. I can only hope that some SE forum moderator is reading this and laughing his/her ass off.
at the end of the day: please, please, please realize your retarded threads about LAWSUITS and ANGER and BBB and GODDOMIT I HATE SE are not going to change the reality of the situation. Just grow up.
Patience is a virtue all too lost on some.
Thank you, Lexia.
I'm pretty ticked off about the whole not being able to play a game I paid for thing.... but a lawsuit? Wow.
Most of us have made our displeasure at squeenix known. I certainly did. Ultimately they have to please their players in order to make money... what this means is once they know we are mad (and believe me, they know) they will do everything in their power to fix the issue, especially when it limits peoples play time, and especially this early in the game.
Relax a bit. You can always play Final Fantasy next week.
Using credit cards is only one method of paying. You can use Playspans Ultimate game cards. (Playspan is owned by Visa) (i got 1850 crysta from a $20 card :( ) and besides its not like the kid can't get his parents card and enter the number, the expiry date and the cvs code while his parents are asleep or otherwise occupied ;)
All these games have problems coming out, but this is the second go. I'm not whining about suing but I definitely wont buy another se product after this. I got like an hour of playing time in four days for an issue that clearly should've been foreseen. I work all day and would like to play when I get off. but to huff and puff about lawyers makes you seem like a biyatch!
I could've bought a sack of dank and wasted my money on this shit when it was working! That's what im really pissed about. loooooooooooool
you know the idea of kicking afk players....well with that idea all you'll find is random characters running in corners/walls etc, tera online has this function all i did to avoid that was /dance in FF's case running into a wall would bypass it
Most people however, don't do that. They sit in corners, on boxes, on chairs, stand around like turkeys looking up at the rain, or go afk in their inn rooms... I have seen very few people over the last week using emotes or running into corners (not everyone knows theres no afk kick).
Also the dancing emote in this game doesn't loop.
