Crafting is sooo social in this game, this LS is a wonderful idea!

Wish they had PM on this forum. Anyway, Silvyr you're in charge for a bit. I need to take a short break from the game (sucks that it is right after it opens) to focus on job/schoo/wife/kids. You know, all those things FFXI has you agree to every time you open the game. I'll be back and I expect to see enough people for a CC2! While I'm away, I think I'll look into making a website for us...

no worries delvish I'll do what I can We're up to 48 atm I believe and one person aqua regia they've got 50 everything they joined to help us out it was very nice of them. Also magna victoria another player whose well nearly maxed out and pretty knowledgeable about crafting. I don't know how long you'll be gone but I can damn sure play the game and recruit people as can the other leaders of the shell.

I just need a direction how and where should I recruit, should I make a recruit spam macro and do it every once in a while in a main city or wait for the trickle off the forums to come in I made a repost of your first page intro on zam but so far i dont think we've seen any traffic from that not sure.

or if you're willing you can post a recruit message you find is acceptable and We'll use that. We'll figure out communication between us and the LS.

EDIT since we can't communicate through lodestone I've added my Zam forum account to my sig if you wish to convey stuff between you me and the shell.

I'd love to join if there's still room. I'm planning on going the route of Culinary and Alchemy for the time being.

It's a shame you can't add people to your friends list if they're offline, and that youc an't send moogle mail to people who aren't on your friends. A little silly imo.

Great to see so many responses! With our shell growth rate, I'm going to have to bump a LS website and a new CC2 linkshell up on my list of priorities! I already miss playing but hopefully I can get my RL stuff situated and my priority list straightened out. THEN I can look into hopping back into the fray!

i dont have the stuff yet but will get it next time am on. just hoping someone will help me

Good question Shanks. Unfortunately commissions are not covered under our non-profit clause, but you have sparked a good idea in establishing a commission request option to an eventual website. Will continue to look into it, but until then we might be able to look into hooking you up with a BSM.

sample crafting macro for BSM for steel. I press steady hand first on my hotbar then i do this macro. I have enough CP to do steady hand once, then standard touch 3 times then masters mend to restore durability then standard touch 1 more time and 1 basic touch, followed by 2 careful synthesis because it takes me 2 of them to get the progress bar to 100%

UPDATE we're currently up to 97 members WOOT go us, when we cap out we're gonna start a CC2 hopefully a website and forums will be in the works eventually thatll be cool. Delvish if you need funds for this dont hesitate to have a donate button or something I'd gladly contribute to this I think its a great idea for our server.

When we do start cc2 we'll take about 10 people over as officers and start it up recruit and intercommunication between the 2 shells We'll worry about who wants to do that when we're capped till then lets just enjoy the shell heh.

No, I'm not walking around forests with a giant sack of stuff sporting a big scruffy beard and staff. Just figuring things out. I've been playing FFXI nearly non-stop for 9 years. I don't need to remind anyone who has played it about that little warning that pops up every time you play. To keep it simple, I've found I've got a lot more to balance now than I have for practically the last decade, though I'm a little behind the learning curve on that lesson. So that is my pilgrimage, before I rejoin Eorzea.

Yay new banner photo for the web page. Also got a new theme up that makes it a little bit brighter. Browns aren't always looked fondly on, but Uldah is the economic capital of Eorzea. Not to mention these forums are full of browns and reds too. I think it looks pretty good... :cool:
