Crafter's Coalition - your second shell!

Greetings everyone, and welcome to Eorzea! (For all of our legacy players, Welcome Back!)

In an effort to ease the leveling process of Disciples of the Hand as well as foster a helpful community of crafting professions, I have established a linkshell called the Crafter's Coalition! Since FFXIV allows for up to 7 simultaneous linkshells, this makes an excellent secondary shell to your standard social shell.

The Crafter's Coalition is a not-for-profit organization of individuals who have or are leveling a Disciple of the Hand. Many items in the game require a multitude of different crafts to make one item. Wouldn't it be convenient if we could just ask a buddy in the shell to make something real quick and send to you? That is the whole idea behind the Crafter's Coalition... I just need crafters to make it work!

Are there any requirements?
The only requirement for invite is one Crafting or Gathering profession, or an expressed desire to level one or two.

What is this "not-for-profit"? Crafting is all about profit!
Not-for-profit means two things. Linkshell members are discouraged from seeking to making a profit from other LS mates. Defeats the purpose of having a group in the first place! It also means the linkshell itself does not make a profit off of its members.
Selling some HQ piece of armor to some warrior jar-head though? Mark that piece up!

Does the Linkshell have any plans for the future?
Well, it all depends on what SE comes up with really.

• If the shell gets big enough, we'll have to have a second CC shell. We have two active shells! Not sure yet if we will go for the third, but we have a forum up that is used to link the existing two together.
• If SE creates a good FC bank system, I've been contemplating an FC of our own. For the time being though I've determined it is not beneficial to us as it is more difficult to swap from FC to FC, and a lot of people would prefer a FC that does DOW/DOM kind of things. Additionally, our community is too large for that, and I'd rather not restrict membership.

Do you accept commissions?
We do take commissions! A few satisfied customers already. Just hop on over to our Commission's page!. Also, let us know how you feel about our commission process. This process is still in beta phase, and we are open to suggestions on fixing it!

well technically it would be my third linkshell as i have two semi-inactive ones left over from 1.0. but i'd love to get my crafting going again, i agree it's hard always farming for mats. i've sent you a request in game, hope to talk to you soon

sign me up im leveling everything so far, starting mining goldsmithing alch armor blacksmithing yeah it all kinda ties together lol I'll log in soon ish and i have tomorrow off so lets see how far i can go.
weaving macro for those who want it for like cotton balls, cotton undyed cloth stuff thats makeable in 1 craft and has a 40 durability.
