RFC 968 is a play on the same poem, but for networking back in 1985 by Vint Cerf RFC means Request for Comments to help the development for ARPANET.

RFCs are still made, some are jokes such as RFC 1149 - IP over Avian Carriers. Every Christmas, I sent out RFC 968 at work. It's a great one. I still love it ;)
