Legacy Mark

It would be pretty cool if we got a mark on the back of our necks of the deity we chose in character creation.

Yeah, I think the results will be something we can be hyped over. Though I think the mark is a different pattern, like what Lousioux and his merry men have.

Even though I have really long hair in real life, this is making me glad I didn't pick that as a trait for my character.

I suppose the mark of your specific deity is also an option.

Others have sufficiently pointed out what that twelve-spoked wheel is and where it comes from.

Just wanted to point out that characters similar to my character's hair style (Vilhelm and Catapult, etc), if you angle the camera up, you can still see the back of your neck beneath your hair. It was enough for me to confirm whether or not the imported model had any marks there during the beta test this past weekend. Alas, no. Have to wait.

Always possible, but it was just so noticeable to both people I was trio'ing with as well as myself when we first saw her that we all commented about it.

This is her from 1.0 though, and her top isn't really all that different, just edited so it isn't basically Hyur female undies top.

So it's more on your upper back than the back of your neck. Hair length is irrelevant. Short of unequipping your chest armor, you're not gonna see it.

I have to admit, I think it's actually pretty cool. Non-obtrusive, nice design and it just sort of...fits, ya know? Overall, I like it.

For anyone who hasn't noticed, the legacy mark is the same mark on the legacy chocobo's beak. Turns out we knew what the mark looked like this entire time! The mark is "distorted" to fit the shape of the beak, but you can see that it's the same thing.

Make sure you have your whistle first and foremost. If it's not in inventory check a calamity salvager, and if you already did that then chances are you still need to unlock your grand company.

Once you have unlocked grand company talk to the Yoshi-Qote Wandering Minstrel nearby and select "Prime Chocobo Companion for Battle" or something like that.

Once you can do that go outside and summon him for battle with a Gysahl Green, and under Abilities/Traits you should see a Companion Tab with Barding as an ability, set that to your hot bar and you can switch your barding. Once you change the barding it will wear whichever set you picked when you ride it from then on too.

Longer post then I intended, but just covering all possible bases here.
