Yeah I wonder what's going on. I hope the 'leak' of that SCH pic hasn't interrupted the promotion and it's just that there's a larger number of folk doing it than they expected so they're ahead of schedule for the release of the next pic which has caused a slow-down.

I think there could be two more images coming, Summoner and the secret one. SE released concept art of summoner in AF over 8 months ago, so surely it's not the secret.

That's obviously not the secret =b I'm thinking 3 more; SMN, "ACN/SCH", and that one with all of the jobs on it

So I see some people are calling the Arcanist a Scholor, I get why but it's not. My reasoning is this.

They've stated in the past that the Armory System classes will also have their own AF, including DoL & DoH. Arcanist in regular DoM gear will really look no different than Thaumaturge and Conjurer excluding the tome weapon. So to have the new availible class stand out they've decided to give a glimpse of Arcanist's artifact gear and have it with the Job foreground in the circle image.

You may be right, but you may not be. There are people who are saying "It's SCH, no doubt". I WANT it to be SCH and hope it is, but there's a lot of evidence on each side and it's all visual, so there's nothing we can do but wait.

Just saying "It's not SCH" is no different to me turning around and saying "It's not ACN, because... <insert lengthy post>"

We'll just have to sit and wait. And send lots of Tweets.

Either way it is speculation and you make just as many assumptions. Everyone has their own opinions. I personally can't imagine an artist being okay with highlighting a "job circle" and just for kicks throwing a class in the mix. We all just have to wait and see.

It's also hard for me to imagine an artist incorporating major elements (and duplicating the actual headgear) of the Scholar AF from multiple Final Fantasies, onto a non-Scholar AF. If SE ever wanted to add the Scholar job to FF14, they would need to almost completely change its look from past Final Fantasies.

It would be like if SE decided to add Blue Mage to FF14 first yet gave it Black Mage's iconic hat. Or maybe Corsair yet gave it a Dragoon-style headpiece. It doesn't make sense to me.

But, yes, nobody knows for sure. I would go as far as saying that everyone sees Scholar AF (because it's nigh-identical to FFXI's), but quite a few don't want to accept that it's being worn by a Scholar job.

That would make sense. If this is leading up to some big reveal, having only 1 per day would make sure the reveal happens when they want. Of course the leak/mining/whatever may have spoiled the reveal.

Au contraire, it's provoked a huge amount of interest in a promotion that may otherwise have been ignored by most. Everyone's chomping at the bit to see whether that's a SCH or an ACN in the picture!

I don't know if anyone else is having an issue of connecting their Twitter account. I have already done previous text arts, but when I click on authorise app it loads and then after a while says bad gateway.
