Only if they begin to work on the beta after the alpha. But they already began to work on the beta before the alpha went public.

Try keeping informed. They already said they're aiming between the end of january and the beginning of february (which equates, incidentally, to one to two months).

That's what they say. It's not how it's going to be. You can quote me and refer to it when it's delayed. Maybe at the moment of that quote they were planning on that time, but development is never on time. You should know this by now.

Also, when have I ever done wrong by others by giving bad information? Never. In fact, when ever this happens its based off of information that hasn't reached this forum yet. I don't give out assumptions. So, I'm telling you, expect 3-4 months from alpha shut down. I'm trying to be helpful. Not hurt your hopeful feelings.

Well they shouldn't give "months" if they weren't "sure" about it. I don't mind waiting, but with all the Positive feedbacks they have gotten about Alpha, I wouldn't be surprised if it came earlier than expected. That's all I'm say ^.^.

I don't have "feelings" about it. My schedule of games to play is full from here to summer and beyond.

If that was true, you'd be breaching the NDA, which makes your credibility plummet further, but I'll throw in a report for safety's sake.

Heh, I'm surprised people are still waiting around on this. I haven't gotten a invite yet and I'm not looking for it any more. Reason? Even if I were to get invited, the majority of alpha has run its course. It would seem redundant to enter the testing phase only to have a short time to test when it's already been tested to death long before I even got to see what inside.

Not giving up, just being practical and finding better stuff to do with my time than be mad with SE on the forums~

^ yup this. Yoshi even stated that alpha was going a lot smoother than they thought and they only have it opened still to let people try it out. Alpha testing has already ended. They have all the pertinent info they need to move on to beta. The building up of the Beta build has already started, we can highly assume that.

And every legacy player will be in beta, at the some point where they give us back our 1.0 saves.
