Just thirty minutes ago I was saying to a friend that this was my favourite part! :D Glad I'm not alone. When those wings break out, you really feel the impact of the music, the visuals, the story, all at once. BAM. Perfect. Really gets the adrenaline pumping for the dramatic ending. Just so epic.

Favorite part is definitely when he does the first roar and you see/feel the intensity of that giant Meteor explode into fiery pieces in seconds.

Like everyone else I can not stop watching this I mean *Squeals*!!!
While I love everything about this trailer, the look, the song, etc I still am always a nerd and am like
"He he, we were there. Thats all of US fighting there ^_^" granted the servers kept kicking us but you guys know what I mean
All the story that led up to that moment just made it that much more epic for all of us.

I cant get the song out of my head either lol. Like I keep thinking about certain lines of the song and I go,
"Omg this song fits this sooo well" lol Ugh I could talk forever about this but the main thing that just keeps making me go back is they were SOOO close to resealing him! But nooo he had to make Lousioix sacrifice himself *sobs*.... Rykku wont let you down Louisoix I promise!!

*Cries uncontrollably and goes to re-watch trailer*

Does everyone have to steal my ideas???? I just took a screenshot of this exact moment while the video was in fullscreen, pasted it into paint, saved it, right click the file and click set as desktop background.

If you take the screenshot from 1080p you will have the highest resolution you can.

I had that as my desktop within minutes of watching it Del, I think I even gave you guys a link to my screenie :P
I frapsed the whole thing with capping a screen per second.

The trailer can be separated in two ... 1 part shows the adventurers fighting giving their all till the bitter end and the other part is to witness Bahamut's chaotic rampage with it's unlimited power and i love everything about it :D.
Is interesting tho how Lou grabs Bahamut's attention quite fast like a face he recognizes :O!

You know, I think this requires some more thought.

I mean, you could say Bahamut just went for the guy that was making the big blue shield....but I think there was more to it. Out of all the combatants, out of all the places Bahamut could quickly go to (Remember, he went to Limsa and back in record time), he chose to deal with Louisoix.

Could he smell the God on him? :o

looks like Finalfantasyxiv.com has peaked in it's highest views ever because of the great interest and the awesome CS!

Yeah, I've been a little obsessed with it. Especially the first few days.

I woke up my friends to watch it. They didn't mind.

My favourite part I think is after the key fires out, and Answers kicks into serious overdrive and it quickly zooms over Dalamud and it's cracking apart.

I think what made this trailer so special is because we all felt that immense pressure of Dalamud bearing down on us for so long, and then it was like all the pressure was released all at once.

I think that's the most intense feeling I've ever had watching a trailer. It was like a culmination of all the years emotions.

I can't articulate what I mean, I don't think anyone could. To those of us who have played XIV and been involved with it for a long time, that trailer meant things that words can never describe.

That's why I think so many people are obsessed with it.

Oh, I also have an obsession with Apocalyptic and post Apocalyptic fiction... so yeah, this was basically awesome for me.

Ya, I have to agree the CS was very, very well, done. Despite initial hiccup of all server traffic at final event, I mean you couldn't have orchestrated a better build up to an epic next chapter, Bravo SE. That's the best shit I've seen in 2 years, and that's saying something! I really can't wait for ARR, many thanks.

I watch all the trailers at least 10 times a day....well, all of them except the GAHLEANS guy. His voice is too annoying lol.

So many awesome screens to have as a wallpaper, I was torn between Bahamut emerging, the three GC leaders and Y'shtola praying. (I love that miq'ote)

Here ya go, the proportions are out by 90 pixels on the width, as I took it at 1920x1080 and converted it to 1440x900.

Again I touched it up slightly in Lightroom so it doesn't look as washed out.

The video is definitely causing a stir, more than anything I think SE has done to date with the game. It's an epic movie with an awesome "compact" story that can be enjoyed and mostly understood without knowing who everyone is, or why they're all there. Of course knowing who everyone is, and why they're there, and appreciating the incredible pay-off that Dalamud has been a prison for Bahamut all this time... makes it all the sweeter, and far more an emotional thing to witness.

I myself am watching it at least 2-4 times a day. And each time, at the end, I'm thinking "freaking awesome..."

Me and most of my shell were by Llymlaen's symbol in Limsa when the servers stopped. We all immediately loaded up the youtube video, and it was a seamless transition, for all intents and purposes.

Also, seeing Y'shtola /praying where we were standing moments before was kinda cool ^^.

Ragnarok was able to stay up till the end and it hit hard seen everyone run towards castrom novum fighting lvl 65 troops and then R/S hit 0 and then watching that trailer many emotions were felt XD

I started before the trailer, but I learned how to play the lyrical portion of the song on the guitar. Mind you, I don't know how to really play the guitar.

Watched it twice, think that's enough.

I can't watch it, i cry just thinking about it.... I might have a problem.

I have been watching the video daily since it released. I can honestly not recall the last time a trailer moved me so. Not just after a single viewing, but to retain that emotional impact every time. It perfectly encompassed what Final Fantasy means to me.

I don't doubt that I will continue to watch it daily until ARR releases. Its just one way I feel like I can support Yoshi-P and the rest of the development team for all of their hard work and the sacrifices they have made to ensure their product is a title to revitalize the Final Fantasy brand. One way that I can preserve the fond memories of my time in Eorzea and the players I have met along the way.

Its my hope that this small act will resonate like a fervent prayer amongst many others who share the same vision. That ARR once released will be gauged upon by the developers efforts alongside everyone else who stood the course of time, who didn't abandon hope, who ignited renewed interest in others and who believed in the future of the dawn of a new era! ;)

I keep coming back to this thread and it makes me go and watch again and again and again ^^
