i have written that tons of times but i just would like to see Gilgamesh in the game.. it would be such an epic boss.. i would enjoy him more than odin.
either in FF8 style
http://thegia.psy-q.ch/sites/www.the.../gilgamesh.jpg
in FF12 style
http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__...sh2_render.png
or even in a complete new style.. i'd be fine with it.
imagine if he could drop many different weapons like we see in the picture above.
+1 Gilgamesh & 4 fiends.
I would actually love to see more pirates and poachers from xiv but done in a way that doesn't haven't them randomly thrown in places that make no sense. The pirate cave next to bald knoll had most of my fav mobs in in 1.0 in it and sadly went totally under utilized.
Also the yensu from XII would go in thanalan region perfectly.
i'd like to see anima from ff10. always liked that summon the most in that game. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__...ma_Artwork.jpg maybe add it in as a big battle of some kind or just something similar in some fitting zone with stuff that has that type of dark crazy looking mobs in them.
http://www.ffcompendium.com/EspMon/demonwall4-b.gif lol maybe demon walls too.
also always loved the looks of toneberry mobs.

I vote for WarMECH, not the later ones (so not from FFXIII or FFVII) - I mean old school FFI WarMECH (Death Machine) - Hell, even captialize the MECH part. ;)

100% support seeing these!
EDIT: Also~
http://images.wikia.com/finalfantasy...rtwork-ffx.png
Fixed that for you~ ;)
But they would have to be part of a new expansion.. maybe they serve as fallen counterparts to the Twelve. -- (Damn, those battles would be cool!)
Also, they would need to be redesigned for this game.. no straight import from FFXII, please.
Oh, and Yojimbo was just a crappy Odin knockoff... Yeah I said it.
EDIT: sorry, meant Gilgamesh, not Odin.
More like his poor derelict cousin~ Wouldn't do shit unless you paid him, and even if you gave him every gil in your coin purse he'd do pathetic damage! That's why he's so loveable :p
EDIT: OF COURSE~~~ If you did spend the time (which I didn't) to raise your affinity with him, he became somewhat useful. He just left more of an impression on me, Gilgamesh is a little too stereotypical? I thought it was a lot more curious/unique for a summon to demand something from you instead of just blindly following your lead. Made his BA level in my eyes rise significantly :p
EDIT EDIT: Wait a second... you said Odin but I read Gilgamesh. I can entirely understand if you want to call Yojimbo a Gilgamesh knockoff... but an Odin knockoff?? O_o
Its not a final fantasy game without these little guys ....

oh right I forget about Cerberus

I like these from FF11 - Uragnites, Evil Weapons, Frogs (BLM type from ToAU), Krakens, Empty monster types, and Kindreds.
Apparently it's supposed to be an unused Woodwraith from XIII. Shame, I really like that design! Huge monsters would be great. I remember getting so excited when the first XIV details came out, talking about creatures that looked like walking mountains. Even if it's just a fight like Sin from X where you have to fight the fins first, and then work up to the rest of the body, it would still be great. Different stages to the fight, to take down one enormous foe.
I don't think so. The only thing we really know about ancient Eorzea is that the wandering tribes called the gods and godesses that inhabited Aldenard 'the twelve' and said tribes were blessed by the twelve. Eventually the tribes warred with each other and nearly tore the planet apart.
I've never heard of Allag. Where was it mentioned, NPC somewhere?
Oh I see, the Allagan empire. For some reason my head didn't make the correlation.
Well we don't really know too much about Allag. All we know is that they worshiped the twelve and had 'onion knights'.
The Allagan empire spanned all of Eorzea too.
Dooooooooooooooooooooooooom Train!
