BALMUNG SERVER GARUDA INSTANCE

Question can you still log in with other char in your account? can anyone try this out who have other char? it could be the same issue few people have for over 5month that there char files got corrupted. Because if you can't still log in and the servers are up it mean A: files are corrupted or B: The servers don't know where the hell you are in game. lol

So it's the same issue like that other guy who can't log on his char for over 3+months now. It seem when the game d/c while doing garuda the char file could have been corrupted if you can log on other char in the same account but not that one then sadly it seem that it was indeed corrupted.

Let's hope now that more players have this issue they would find a way to recover all your chars back.

It isn't corrupted it's just the location is lost..

or it could be that happen to me a while back but i could log in i just every time i talk to a npc it mess up and could not leave the airship area then when i did i was stuck and could not teleport.

Has anyone on Balmung run Garuda since this? Is it still crashing?

yes. People can still go in. It's been buggy as hell for the past few days. On some parties, before we got stuck, we would crash/r0 as many as 3 out of 10 fights.
The 8 of us who got locked out were in a PT the day before it happened. We almost called the PT off, because we were having a hard time not DCing or crashing or having something on the server go wrong in the instance.

I've been watching the area for awhile, only like one party goes there now. As my alt, of course.

Hey guys, I feel really bad this has happened to you. This sort of thing does not give the rest of us much confidence in SE and their support system, if fact it's discusting they seem to have done so little about it.

This is a message to SE; I implore you to help resolve this situation, or at least give these people a valid indication as to the problem and if and when it will be resolved. Thank you.

I believe it'll be fixed soon, I just hope it'll be sooner tonight or tomorrow, I don't see any d/c's in Balmung as much today. Garuda's haven't had an issues, so we'll see. Of course...this is on my alt character..

They are blatantly giving us the runaround.

Here is a copy-past of a GM response to my problem:
" As GMs are unable to assist with technical or in-game issues, we can only suggest submitting a Bug Report directly to our development team "

Yet, you NEED to be in-game to call a GM. I mean, that is what they are there for, to assist when you get stuck IN-GAME and such.

All i asked for was for my character to be jailed, and maybe I'd be able to log into it from there. A previous GM claimed that they are unable to do this for characters that are not logged in. But this conversation took place after right after my other character was jailed while I was offline. I logged out in Uldah. I log in to jail. I ask GM to do the same for my other char. And he said characters not logged in can't be moved.

1/10 rating for support.

It's a joke really, I'm waiting for an "Emergency" Maint message but it hasn't happened yet. I feel sorry for you guys and it sucks. Hopefully we get a patch soon. "Fixed a bug where players who entered the Howling Eye were stuck in some .datHack instance."

Pritz check my thread, I got my GM to work things out with the devs.

This needs to be on the "known issues" list.
