Thats crazy! I had no idea that he was fired.

This is so ironic because back in SHB the opposite was a point of contention.
Plenty of good looking armor in FFXIV, if you refer to the WoW picture above it is = no fantasy at all, all same types, just different colors and a little twist here and there.... maybe the odd bulky design favor NA or other New World places more, due to they did not have had the history and culture of the past, but that is that.
But that's the point - one game designs a larger number of armor sets (one for each class), but they all end up looking "meh" as a result. The other game designs a smaller number of sets, but spends more time on each one, so you don't get as many but they each look much better.
Yes, I guess Google is a small indie company, too, because Amazon has more employees than them, right? /sQuote:
Did you just say "small indie company" without saying "small indie company"?
Really ironically bad timing on this one. Greg just went back to server-only hunt announcements because the DC-wide ones are back to pushing 200 people (where they were at DT's start). Guess you didn't really look around much, huh?Quote:
*looks around* it seems ppl have taken this very advice to heart instead of trying to continue to help improve the game due to a company that doesn't care and their most stalwart defenders who just reinforce really bad takes from Yoshi PR, such as "just go play other games".
Annnnnd oh wow look at how much of a population drop we have had, what ever could have happened?
As someone who plays WoW we at least get far more sets between crafted and dungeon sets compared to WoW
Taking aside the fact I think all of them are very ugly and I, personally, would never work for any of this unless I required their stats, they all have nigh identical silhouettes and are incredibly samey. At a glance, I could mistake half as being the SAME set with different colors.
I agree that the idea of every class getting a unique armor set is awesome, but these are bad designs and if this is the best example for WoW, the argument falls flat.
Aesthetic like this is why WoW never pulled me in even after realizing I kinda like MMOs.
