I mean if you want to adhere to AF, you can still do that yourself. Others can follow suit, or make their own. Both side wins.

I understand all that flies out the window with how gear is set up, but it still feels wrong to not keep only AF sets locked to the job. Don't care about raid gear and class gear being unlocked, but AF in particular is different due to the iconic nature of it.

I've never played FF11 but according to some comments, glam is unrestricted, including AF stuff. So it makes no sense to restrict them in FF14.
