Which 10 words are you muting in 7.0?

Reporting RMT spammers should automatically mute them. If I'm just sitting around waiting for something, I'll report them over and over until their spam is no longer visible. Then I get tired of that, and switch chat to battle mode so I see nothing.

mostly words related to the next US election.

Thankfully you can choose to only mute some words in certain chat channels, such as /shout, /yell and /say!

1. Nyaaa (kitties need to be hung up by their tails and beaten with a newspaper for making that sound)
2. Femboi (spell it right dabbit. It’s FemboY. Take that ‘i’ and plant it in a location marginally close to the ground.)
3. Dj (sick of every other venue being a club. Imaginative creativity is just dead)
4. Gamba (see #3)

Pride, LGBTQ, RP to start

I have some that more or less have already been posted, but I think one I will add is 'woof' or something along those lines because of a SoS run I had where someone spammed the chat repeatedly with it. Unfortunately, I don't think it'll be doing much for instances such as that because the filter doesn't include party chat but I think muting people would suffice.

18+, c0m, gamba, courts

Nothing. I survived 10 years without the filters and I'm sure I'll be okay.

Honestly not many. Most spammers are just going to change things up and put spaces, dashes and special characters into the mix to avoid them anyway. This is not great of a fix.

I guess it's shouldn't be surprising that there would be some homophobia in this thread, but it's always disappointing to see regardless. Oh well, moving on...

It's not necessarily that. alot of the clubs tend to have lgbt in their shout macros, or advertising fcs as LGBT friendly when it's just a spam invite guild with 0 interactions for people

I've never seen anyone say "Meowdy". But then, I'm usually in chat combat mode in Limsa so I don't see RMT spam (and all other chat).

I give it about 5 seconds before club spammers start putting in special characters or weird misspellings to get around filters. 10 phrases max is hilariously insufficient.

I like rp but rp that is based within the game world lore, not watching people bee's knees in a club, I'd play Second Life if I wanted that.

A mmo doesn’t imply participating to venues and RP with other people. I played several mmos and never RPs or participated to venue. Zero interest in that. The game has official group duties and activities.

I'll wait until something gets repetitive enough to annoy me then decide. I don't spend much time in the major cities so the spam doesn't bother me, I just ignore anything that looks like it's for a FC or venue.

Will Blacklist anyone who posts clone adverts in Party Finder.

Will Blacklist RMT that manage to get around filter, anyone who sends me a tell saying "300m, Gil, Giveaway, Forums".

Ten words is a bit of an insult in my opinion, why on earth can we not have 200+ ?.

Anyone who uses Auto-Translate to get around the filter, I will blacklist!

Why on earth can we not add more than 10 words and Auto-Translated words to the filter, ugh.
