Excepting Y'shtola and Runar, none of the others show any clear signs of romance. In fact the only obvert signs of any budding romance in the game that I can recall are Gerolt and Rowena. In fact, the crafting relic quests for Endwalker have their First counterparts, Mowen and Grenholt get married at the end.

Based on what? Their agreement to work together to restore the 13th? They barely know each other, and you're already assuming they're an item?

Perhaps they might become an item eventually, but nothing about the 6.5 ending points to any sort of romantic relationship.

There is not, no; in fact the only additional dialogue I can think of that vaguely implied romantic interest is... to a female WoL, from another woman, and that's more the character being more bashful about a compliment given.

Every other vague shiptease line with a named npc is the same between male and female WoLs.

I gotta say I absolutely like the Golbez Zero ship. Was it official? I don't know, but there were some interesting things to consider; with the whole Julius situation and the chemistry/memories Zero had with Golbez. And before you @me, Runar and Y'shtola's not official either yet it's "accepted" that there's something going on. Don't hate the player, hate the game *Harlem Heat arms in the air*

If golbez is a zenos shard, then that’s another thing to consider. After all, there’s a lot of voidsent in the void, so why would Zenos choose zero - could it be that they’re destined to be together?

I'm assuming this is just wishful thinking, or a view from someone who writes fan fiction. I don't remember anyone else announcing this "what if" is canon. Perhaps you can provide a source?

No romances will ever be formally confirmed in canon unless it's intended from Day 1 (Rowena/Gerolt) because the dev team knows that their fanbase is thirsty AF and likes to self-ship anyone and everyone in the cast.

This is why Aymeric will never date Lucia, Ryne will never marry Gaia, Cirina will never marry Sadu, Hien will never marry Yugiri, Y'shtola will never marry Runar even if she gets back to the First, and why I don't think Wuk Lamat and Erenville will end up a couple.

Too many WoL/Erenville shippers out there already.

I would rather the whole "this is this other person's reflection" idea be left behind entirely. Feels like it would cheapen Ardbert's sacrifice if we can just eat another shard whenever we need a plot power-up.
