Adding stuff like aetherite tickets, disspeller crystals, rare dyes would go a long way to make such a shop viable for even tryhardest of pvp players

I would like to add that the matchmaking in itself was screwed even when we still had a normal trinity in PvP. SE mixed to many tiers in a possible match because they tried to prevent matches from taking 30 minutes to open which in turn mixed to many different skill levels into one match.
This is due to people actually being afraid of doing pvp because of people gaslighting them or posting threads/videos to openly humiliate them. So they don't even try to pvp which in turn reduces the pool of available players.
When i started the Feast i went into the non ranked matches to learn healer properly and got my ass handed to me for a week straight before i got better. Even in unranked i received so many hate /tells that i simply had to resort to using the buisy status.
When i got better that changed drastically. People were happy to see me in ranked matches and even showed me respect in a way i never experienced in any other MMO but the way to get there was rough and i can see why many people cannot or will not endure it.
Personally i hate that my most played roles are now BOTH gone and the only option i have left in PvP is being a DPS no matter what Job i play.
There were many issues at play here and square was to afraid to enforce their own rules, designs and adjusting them accordingly.
What we have now is the result of some people complaining that it was to hard. People that play pvp once a day for the roulette reward while watching netflix or something.
I do not think ill ever get over the fact that they deleted any sense of accomplishment when playing pvp these days. At least for me.

Same, I flamed some of the best healers for letting me die on monk. One of them told me to go play healer myself then. Then I did start playing healer in diamond queue, everyone loved it. /s

Wouldn't mind a ranking system that can be upgraded by wolf collars. That give you a visible indicator next to name in PvP content, like instead of mentor/afk/materiameld sign. Maybe let it have a 0,5% boost in damagereduction and damageincrease per tier up to 5%, in frontline and rival wings only. We had PvP rank till 50. Make it go to 100 or something. And/Or unlock unique duty action skills tied to the rank.
We don't need rank/gear to matter in ranked PvP, but in casual frontline PvP, it can be viable and fine to have some longterm goals.
People were not eating/sleeping to rank up to top 100. That's insane. A reward of any kind should not require that level of dedication (same goes for the Diadem things). Let people work toward it on their own time, at their own pace.
That's projection. We very much were sleeping and eating as we went after the top 100 leader board. We simply have proven to be better and have chosen that our quality time went into Ranked PvP, both for a meaningful trophy as well as us loving the mode.
Frankly, you cannot have it both "let it farm at your pace" and "give top 100 a meaningful seasonal reward" in the same sentence. Either seasonal Top 100 matters or it doesn't.
This is why we have the Series Battle Pass for what you described but completely lost any meaning and reason to strive for excellence at top 100 and fighting for spots. I find it unfair that Ranked players get shafted for the entire expansion but it's justified because the people who do not engage with the mode in the first place were crying a river about it having unique rewards and probably still arent playing it now either.

We are approaching the end of expansion and they have yet to provide any information on the future of Ranked.
It's just frustrating and dissapointing that despite all the suggestions everything has more or less remained the same. They took one good step forward with the Commendation Crystals and Weapon upgrades, but then practically forgot them. We get our new gimmick maps semi-regularly but so far they have just felt worse than the initial set aside from some Casual match meme potential, which seems to be their main aim with the mode as it is alive and well.
It wouldn't have taked much to just make an initial band aid solution after first few Seasons and at least double the baseline tomestones, exp etc. for winning/losing a Ranked match compared to Casual.
After another Season or two they could have expanded the Wolf Mark / Crystal shop to at least have the Hunt mark rewards etc.
Hell, even Mahjong suffers from complete lack of rewards and could be invigorated by just adding a good chunk of MGP for playing regardless of ending position to make it more worthwhile for casual players.
But no, even such easy baby steps were not taken. Not to mention all the expanded reward structures that people brought up that gave value to basically all the Ranks along encouraging the Top 100 competition beyond just doing your handful of matches and cashing out the next numbered plate.
They keep having PvP tournaments at Fanfests but barely support the competitive side of the mode. At least we get small balance patches, so they haven't completely forgotten that it exists, but all of it feels like huge waste when it could be so much more.
Honest question since I assume you probably have been around longer than me within PvP - do we even have a viable avenue of communication other than the forum? Because if I look at job balance changes and the utter lack of ranked incentives being adjusted, it feels *very* biased towards the JP pvp playerbase.
The forums get largely ignored, we lost our community representative a long time ago and most of us obviously don't speak japanese. Even if we did and tried adressing things either in the JP forum or by potentially sending a letter or a well-written e-mail, there is a good chance we fall on deaf ears because we'd be referred back to the english forums and they don't want to risk things - of which the irony is, they risked things exactly two years ago with replacing Feast entirely and retiring meaningful ranked rewards with them.
It's really difficult to get the point across what we need if "but it works in JP, you guys just don't like pvp" is the common narrative/brainrot repeated ad nauseam.
Unfortunately I don't think they will take notice unless someone gets to ask these things directly during fanfest or similar. Might need a community figure or two to rally out people, since it feels that no matter if you contact them through support, send email or try to interact with the JP forums, it will most likely either be disregarded or at most met with "thanks for bringing this to our attention, we will consider stuff" and just left hanging.
EU really is getting the short end of the stick due smaller active Ranked playerbase, I'm not sure how happy our NA or JP friends are with the status quo but they are probably busy playing matches throughout the season.
It's just sad state of things, because despite its issues CC is fun to play and spamming Casual just tends to end up in awful one sided matches one way or anoher when highest ranks get mixed in.
By all means, if you love it, keep doing it! But I do know of some people who really did put their physical health at risk to do so. The same happened with those Diadem titles. They were just going non. stop. It's one thing to really like a thing and invest your time in it. It's another to do that to the exclusion of everything else. If you love Top 100 and you get it, you should feel proud that you got that spot and that is in itself its own reward. I'm proud that I won the furniture design contest and got to see my design made into a game asset. I got some exclusive doodads for it. At least people can periodically retry via the furnishing/weapon/hairstyle design contests or the sweepstakes to try and get those same items. Top 100 items? Not a chance.
I think people would be a lot more open to Top 100 having its own rewards if:
1) It was per server
2) Rewards were account-wide
3) Cheaters/hackers/botters were disqualified
4) They were periodically made available again, like a refresh.
They really only seem to care if it causes unwanted media attention in some way. As an aside for the Japanese-speaking forum, DeepL.com is your friend. :) It does a much better job at translating than that godawful Google translator does.

I just don't get why they don't add a top 100 token that can be used for top 100 rewards and keep them on a vendor adding to it every season.
No FOMO and you can always get the rewards. It's basically PVP ultimate.
They did it with the augmented hellhound weapons to a degree but we need more. These tokens should be for top 100 only to have them be something to shoot for. The issue with trophy crystals is that you can get them at diamond thus they don't requires as much effort as staying in top 100 through the end of the season.
Also please god more uses for trophy crystals. Current crafting mats/stuff that sells on marketboard. I'm getting close to 99 stacks on the series and that should not be a thing.
One thing that feels bad to me is that Framer kits and Gear cost 1,500 Trophy Crystals and weapons cost 3,000 Trophy crystals, but the reward for most levels is 1,000 Trophy Crystals. To get 2/3 a piece of gear for a level up feels bad. The only levels I feel any excitement about achieving are every fifth level.

My suggestion for PVP SERIES 6
Instead of every 5 levels, rewards are every 3 levels. There are many old PvP rewards that should be recycled into the Series system to draw more new players in and get veteran players excited again. Return these old items to achieve this increase in item rewards.

It's vital to the health of PvP that there be this amount of decent, obtainable rewards to draw new players into PvP.
Maybe it's too late for changes to the next PvP series, but hopefully this feedback can help for future series. What do my peers here think of my suggestion? :D!
I have some other thoughts... like losing games as quickly as possible on purpose shouldn't be a viable way to level PvP series, but maybe that's for another post.
Or, SE could just make pvp Fun again. Otherwise people will just stop again as soon as they have their "rewards". Time has shown it again and again: New Rewards? PvP active. Everyone has rewards? PvP less active.
Just look at Rival Wings. It explodes from Dead and buried to 1 min queue pops when there is a event with "rewards" that includes this mode.
I'd really like to test that in FL, but it'll never happen I guess. Despite our complaints about people not trying, there is definitely a population on Aether (plus some DC switchers) who appear to be playing because they enjoy it. I've heard this argument that RW is dead because there is no roulette and that FL would be the same, but nobody seems to consider the possibility that RW is dead because, in the opinion of some, it is not very interesting and overly contrived.
