Some of the emotes I wasn't even able to get because the service you needed to use aren't even available in my area. Now, if I want, I can get them from the cash shop.

Also, IMO, with the way they botched the GrubHub promo, Square Enix should be completely disgraced to be charging money for the "eat pizza" emote after they screwed over so many people. They should just take the L, make the emote earnable in game, and move on. Try again when they can do better and not "run out of codes" on a virtual item with fake scarcity.

EU didn't get a timed event. I'm glad it's in the store and I don't care if it upsets people like you. They should put all JP and NA exclusives in the online store.

It would've been pretty much impossible to have a similar event in the EU, due to varying laws by country on these sorts of events. Having them tied to an Itinerant Moogle event would've resulted in it being completely unavailable after a short period, and necessitated a longer wait, as our next Itinerant Moogle event won't be for another few months.

The cash shop was the easiest and safest way to add it, and it means everyone who wants it can get it.

I don't really have a problem with collabs like this, but i really think some people dropped the ball on this one specifically, so I'm glad they brought it to the mogstation.

Would be nice if instead of the cash shop, they added old pvp stuff to wolf collar trophy shop, some failed collab stuff and other goodies to Gold Saucer so people could spend MGP, and revisited the achievement shop in Gridania and did something with that.

But SE being SE, doubt they'll change anything because money.

I don't care about the item, have it, I care about how SE goes about including it behind another paywall and not another in-game event/shop that already exists.

I can appreciate the skill involved in making this, and I couldn't hope to ever draw something that good, but there's a weird, I dont know the proper word, but grotesque vibe to the picture. I've seen it before though, so I think it's an intentional art style. Not for me though.

True. Making it free would've been a nice gesture from SE, but... it's also SE - a company who charges $37 USD for a mount on their online cash shop. They're gonna go with whatever option that makes them the most money.

the fact that it was locked behind a thing only in the US was really infuriating. the fact that I couldn't get it when it was possible to do so was annoying.

They can't even be bothered to make the FFXIII collab Thm/Cnj Blm/Whm 1 handed weapons to being 2 handed
