Hmm... Boredom with normal hoomans while not wanting to move so far as to reach an entirely new species?

Part of it I'd say also stems from ancient human/animal hybrid creatures in various mythologies which over time evolved into what is usually collectively called demi-humans or monster girls as it's expanded far beyond just catgirls.

I used to be a cat girl before they became overly popular. I enjoyed playing them and sometimes go back but I find them to be a bit young looking and much prefer my midlander these days.

I find some of the art nice but a lot is a bit dodgy looking considering they look about 13.

I hope the female Hrothgar are more womanly. Catgirls would be better with more shape and better teeth and markings. I feel they are basic now because you see one you seen them all.

I love cats though I have 4 in real life. I wish they where a bit cooler looking and not as childlike.
