Hamlets ~.~

i really hope hamlet is nothing like this in 2.0

Well yeah 3 weeks of hamlets and still 1/9, seems there is no other way but to get into top3 for me...What a time sink..

Last weekend I got a seal and I wasn't in the top 3. Just do the 60k+ runs. People in the top 3 have only a chance to get 2 seals (1 from the coffer like everyone and 1 from the NPC).

Now that we know how to earn seals, I have another question. How do we earn the DoL hats?

What do you guys expect, they want you playing until 2.0 so they add ridiculous time sinks to the game

Drop rates on seals is 50% if your getting 60k+, and im not sure youve said thats what your doing yet (could have missed it), given bad luck can happen, but generally every group thats lasted a decent amount of time, the drop has ended to be around that.
9/9 seals and many others in ls have the same.~

60k yes, if you can have 10 hours with no seals it that really fair if it is for you then, you are right. "given bad luck can happen" that sure is a challenge of skill

the topic is the seals not dropping, the weapon can be done, the beastmen currency can be done, the ifrit fight can be done, AV & CC can be done etc.

thats the point "Bad luck" please, there's got to be a better system

If Square Enix nerfs the Hamlet seal drop rate a second time I can probably get my alts a relic weapon before 2.0 beta.

The only thing I can suggest is perhaps trying to push for 70k runs. We have done around 10 of these and I'm pretty sure we only didnt see a seal drop in one of those. It will take the whole 30 mins to accomplish this, spamming synths after the trash mobs are dead just to bump up the points, everyone using L1 broken weapons etc etc. but it certainly seemed to help us. I'm sure there's all kinds of ways to bump up the points that just havent been discovered yet (we found out the other day turning an item into materia during a run nets you 10 points lol) but you will get there. As mentioned above, /rally the toops at the start and /laugh at the NM will net you an easy 400 points with the multiplier. Good luck on drops :D

I'm kind of use to the drop rate on gears and etc but don't you think if seals are just a step on the way to the relic, if you do all the things right like we already rally and laugh etc. give me at least a 50% drop rate 1 every 2 runs I mean is 9 seals and 20 people that needs to get it. I was just mad bro, I had to say something ^^

ikr, still happens. I wonder if some day they will make it maybe like 1 100% seal drop after every 10 runs maybe if you want 20 people to get 1 seal it will only take 100 or less 65k+ runs, It wont happen ~~

Or you could recruit 4 more people and have 3 groups running simultaneously. 20 people cycling through one group is counter productive. Which sounds like more of the problem.

Not saying hamlets are perfect, but they are certainly not that bad with a static group.

Today in Limsa every round 1 seal (~63k points). Everyone in the party have now 3 seals from aleport.

I hope we have same luck in Uldah in some hours :cool:

Ok so... 1/9 seals after 3 weeks? And you need a static? People are just sad, or i guess were dumb enough to pick a pure NA server. Every night on this server the JP's go to work with pickup groups, they get 60k+ every single run, and theres alot of groups, JP's over here even Pug garuda ffs, content isnt hard, i use my ls for hamlet but i also did pickups when i still needed seals.

Also you getting 1 seal from 4 runs, isnt a sample size. If something was 90% drop and you didnt get it the first try obv it never drops then.

we have those days too, I'm not saying is bad to be in a dumb luck system, just SE plz dnt spin it down so much to the point of 0/23 on runs for an item that's just part of a lot more things. DL still broke but they are not fixing that under any concept.
