yea its the same as buying a gift card it'll work and on the website if you go that route they have different card amounts that you can buy $10 $15 $20 and so on
Oh... The game card I'm looking to buy is 'Ultimate Game Card'? (I just clicked on that link you posted, Zenaku). The card won't say like... FFXIV game time or SE game time or something like that?
nah FFxiv isnt on the card but when you go to make a payment with it on the account management site i think you pick other and itll show the game card icon and you type the code in
when i buy a $20 card i get 2,000 crysta and the account cost what 1,250 crysta or so and after that you should have like 700 left over so
$20 card x2 gives you the 3rd month free
What exactly does this game card look like? So I know what I'm looking for when I walk into one of those stores ya'll listed. (Am new to this game card thing, never had any of them where I'm from.) Yeah, literally been in the main land for less than a month.
They look just like this.

np man i had the same problem with my bank card not working even though it had visa logo SE wouldnt take it thought i wasnt gonna get to play the game til i found these cards lol
Thank you for finally posting. I have a question also I know you live in the us territories ie you live either in puerto rico us virgin islands or I believe guam. Do you have the ability to get a prepaid debit/credit cards there that you can try instead of just your regular credit card. Then instead of having to try to find said ultima pay card just load the required amount that you're wanting to pay on the prepaid card and viola. That's an option there as well. Se might be able to accept that as well.
Also I understand and can see where you're coming from with the anger. ^_^ I have no hard feelings against it so with me you're all good. I just like to point out to people who try to cut other people down or bitch at people that sometimes not all the information is given to begin with so of course we'll make assumptions and i've always heard this saying when you assume... you make an ass out of you and me. I wish you luck with getting all that corrected though. Also as other people said you can buy the crysta which is the ultima pay cards through like pay pal and even from their own website through of course your account on SE it is a 3rd party site through them too. I did that when I first started out and bought about 30 dollars worth of crysta from them. It's all going to be the same. Though if you don't wish to do that it's understandable that you'd have your own reasons against it. Again thank you for coming back and giving us a more clearer understanding of your issue and situation.
Way to be rude... you apologize for coming off as whiny whilst in the same post using curses/profanity and then in your very next post make rude comments. My comments were legitimate, considering you just said "click and steal" without any explanation.
I don't know what this "know-it-all" horse is that I'm standing on, because I didn't display know-it-all behavior.
I read your post to him and it was pretty much on the rude side. You may not know what the terms customer loyalty means. Then again you might. Who knows Once a company fucks up and i mean in the sense of they screwed up somewhere to just one customer then it travels by word of mouth or by even the internet. I deal with this every day with damn near every phone call I get. I wish I could get a dime for all the times that I hear someone say to me over the phone "I'll never buy this product again and neither will anyone I know and blog how terrible your company is" I would be a millionaire. I'm not saying the company's product is bad. It's electronics and as the saying goes "Shit Happens" I would suggest you work in customer service end like call center type work. Plus I bet you've been through the same thing may hap with a family member of yours. Maybe they went to someone and got crappy service and you said I"ll never go there again. I said the same thing too. I just had a huge screw up with Tire Kingdom and they cost me well over 600 dollars worth of repairs on my car because they either broke the Tone wheel on my right cv axle, never put it back on or partially broke it and then while I was driving it it fell off. Trust me I"ll never go there again and Will never recommend people to go to that place. So your remarks can be seen as slightly rude as well when you didn't even know if he had an issue with the company before. You made an assumption that he was one of the people who "jumped onto the hate click and buy bandwagon". Also I'm one of the ones who had heard horror stories about click and buy and for the people who have no problems more power to them but honestly when it concerns my money I'd rather let it be through SE (Whom I have greater trust in) than some 3rd party company who even a lot of banks in multiple countries refuse to deal with. I doubt it's even a part of the Better Business Bureau. Actually It doesn't even list the BBB as a part of them so.....
Think of it this way you hear horror stories of a company... do you really want to give them access to your money account? If you do then that's the risk you decide to take but you can't judge people who don't wish to take that sort of risk and honestly as well, on a note for us Americans we still have a crappy economy and some of us even though we can't afford the game we still try our best to be able to play and to make the payments so we can have our relaxation after a hard day of work or in my case leaving early for medical reasons but still wants to play and support this game to see it get better. Wow I hope this doesn't get deleted wasn't trying to make it a post about me just putting in examples....
I'm done with this now.... lol
For the sake of the OP (and other, newer members) some context may be in order.
When this game was originally released, it was released with a payment system that contained only two payment options:
- Click & Buy (for most territories, but the company has far from a good reputation, especially with some banks outside Europe that would block their transactions)
- Crysta (for use with Playspan, Paypal and Ultimate Gamer Cards, but only in a few countries)
These limits were highly problematic, as they excluded people from some countries from paying entirely, resulted in additional transaction fees for others and caused headaches. Despite much outrage, SE ignored the problem until free trial periods ended and people actually gave the financial signals to corporate SE that they were unable to pay, not just complaining. Not long after, a direct credit card option was implemented to alleviate concerns and this is understood to have worked for 99.9% of players.
The Original post here reads like a complaint cut straight out of 2011, before SE responded to the payment options problem, because it makes reference only to the original payment options. Because of this, it is probably why a lot of people initially responded the way they did, making assumptions that did not consider more than the "most obvious possibility".
Many people seem to have initially assumed the OP was reminiscing about the old problem by making an imitation post many months after the fact, expecting to rile people up.
Of course, the OP is part of that 0.1% that still has payment difficulties and did not deserve to be overlooked in the way that he was. His treatment was, in my opinion, a rather unfortunate mix of fate, attitudes and bad luck.
/in before the lock
The account and payment page is still a pile of total ass. I don't blame OP for getting lost. If it reads like a complaint from 2010 or 2011 that's because their page has been a pile of total ass for at least that long.
When I think of the horror stories I hear of a company, generally I think it's a disgruntled customer that maybe someone made a mistake with, but I don't automatically assume that it's the norm. For the average person's purposes, for instance, paypal works perfectly for paying people and for collecting donations. But a few people got rubbed the wrong way, some of those people start a website like paypalsucks.com or spread word of their terrible experience whatnot and then you have a snowball effect. It doesn't mean most of or even a majority of customers had a problem.Quote:

Especially when I have a positive personal experience myself, why should I trust/believe the bad things people say? Every once in a while you have people even come on here and say SE treated them like crap. That's never happened to me, and almost all of my experiences with customer service, of which I have had a very large number (there have been one or two less-than-ideal ones but the vast majority are good). So should I jump on the SE stinks bandwagon because of it? You spoke of customer loyalty. Mine has been earned, and it's not going to instantly go away just because one person posted they had a bad experience on a forum. I know better than to take everything I read on the internet at face value, be it good or bad.
I won't disagree that it's not that easy to navigate. It's still a lot better than it was a year or more ago.Quote:

a lot better is still not better....... Just because you are not dying at the rate you where 3 mins ago, does not mean you are not dying 3 mins after.....
actually with the click and buy band wagon it was more than one person having issues with said company. I know someone who lives in Switzerland and his bank refuses to do business with Click and Buy. I understand that it's sometimes people pissing on things because they don't like the way they've been treated. However you have to take another look at it when it's multiple people reporting same issues and even companies that refuse to do transactions based on past experiences with said company and so on and so forth. I use the horror story as an example because like I said previously I hear it all the time at my job. I am customer service/technical warranty support for kitchen appliances and this is a company that's been around for over 30 years. One little thing that goes wrong and there goes the loyalty of that person and it spreads by word of mouth. You say you take everything at face value then go read the stories that others have posted on here about their own experiences with Click and buy. It's still your decision on if you stay with them or not. Like I said if you don't have a problem with them more power to you. Don't jump people's asses when they want to be safe with something especially when it concerns their personal money and in this day, age and economical setting.
