If i have learned one thing from 'Lalafell groups' is that there is always a a few weirdo's mixed in.

Our own FC leader of the <Lala> FC on Materia turned out to be a pedo that was into Lala ERP and taking modded gposes with Lalafells in sexual acts.
We immediately asked him to resign as FC leader and leave the server permenantly, he's now on NA/Aether.

These communities may seem cute, but there is always a few bad eggs amongst them that will eventually ruin the cute/fun parts of lalafell.

Had someone get very weirdly attached to my lalafell at one point in HW. Followed me everywhere, always talked about her. Changed to Roegadyn due to being hugely creeped out and they had a meltdown for about a week then I guess they found a new obsession. Killed any desire for me to play lalafell ever again, happily a roegadyn now as no one bothers me and I don't get emoted at randomly. lol

To be fair, I play Lala because I'm irl pretty short so I always play short races in games like Dwarf/Gnome (Alliance) or Goblin(debatably Blood Elf) (Horde) in WoW, Bretons or the wood elf dudes in Oblivion, Gnome/Dwarf/Halfling in D&D, etc.

I have a friend who has a Lala because she had her 6 year old daughter in her lap and let her daughter tell her what to make when she was creating her character, which was a female Lala with pigtails and pinkish hair, since that's the daughter's favorite color.

Not sure about OP, but there are reasons besides (I'm guessing you're talking about "love of the underages?")...well, besides THAT that people would play Lalas.

Not sure if this is a Titenmen alt or not. Haven't looked at the Disc, either. (I also think it's funny in the first couple pages the OP didn't get the joke that the "child" being looked at was Aliopoh, not the Lala. XD)

The negativity is so great right now that no one can play (or for that matters) show their lala glamours just because there are some criminals with wrong ideas. If someone must change their character just because some sick pervert, then no one should be allowed to play as female miqo'te, female au ra, female viera... Just male bara characters are allowed. There are rapists out there.

The problem is not with those characters itself. The problem is inside the minds of those who misuses these avatars. No, lala was not developed to please pedos. The same can be said that fem miqo is not meant to make porn. Nor any female race. ERP shouldn't even exist to begin with.

You guys won't end with pedos bashing those who plays a specific race in a specific game. Access to the Justice, better education, better aid for abuse victims, police training to deal with such crime is some things that actually works.

I guess it depends on what one means by "into". Some people may use it as code, but some probably just mean like a hobby or thing they like in general.

I dunno, this thread feels like toxic ooze, but I'm not sure that's due to the OP. The OP may very well be genuine. I'm iffy when people bring in the alphabet to their arguments, but meh.

I also find it funny Twinpeaks is so adamant this is a Titenmen alt, which makes me think it isn't. I know there have been a few times we've had Titenmen alts dead to rights and she insisted they weren't, to the point I started thinking she was one. I feel like this one is genuine. And there are people that just like cute things. Little old ladies have those shelves if random cute little glass statue people. They don't want to have sex with them.

I get we live in a world where everyone makes out like everything is about sex...but not everyone thinks that way. A lot of people just see something pretty or cute or whatever and like it because they like it. Aesthetics.

I also find it creepy, in general, for people to lust after video game characters. Lala or Au Ra or Mi'quote, it's just weird to me. I just accept that other people aren't like me in this respect.

Anyway, not posting in this thread again, I don't think. Though I also would mention two other things I do like about Lalas - (1) their mounts (I just like they have tiny versions of a lot of mounts and (2) their perspective. As I said, irl short, so I like characters that let me see the world from a lower angle when my camera is closer. Also like seeing the higher parts of walls and ceilings of all these massive structures we explore, and I like my character not taking up a lot of screen real estate when I need to zoom out to see boss mechanics in raids and stuff that are often at weird angles to see or can be obscured by some larger character models.

Not everything is about sex.

First of all, to the OP. I am so sorry that you have to go through so much crap about this. I know that you are just promoting your discord stuff (I actually drop a few pics in there and there is alot of discord servers that is Lala-focused) and I dont know if you are genuine or not but I dont think this is call for at all.

Let me get this off my chest right now, I understand that the Western view of Lalas is different then the East For the love of GOD, that person paid $12 - $15 for their own account and unless you going to pay for them, let them choose whatever race they want. I hate that all the prejudice that Lalas gets. I been playing Lala since 2014 and I dont see any issues at all. I can do the same things that other players can do (maybe better than others), and yes there is some bad apples in the bunch but does every race in the game have the same issues as well? I have seen alot of people had to change their race from Lala to another race because of the slander from others (I remember that this FC did not allow one person to raid with them unless they change their race about a couple of years ago).

At the end of the day, we as players should respect everybody decision of what race to play on. To me, they are paying for a service and they can do whatever the heck they want as long as they are abiding by the TOS (or not being caught).
