Honestly, that's what I do. I also keep it light because I know not everyone is into RP. Never seen someone try to slow walk thru an instance either.

Role-Playing in dungeons. Hmm... situational can be fun or humorous.

Like the new 4 Player duty going to the last boss: "Hey look a flaming lake. Bet I can drink it."

Reaching the final boss of the 3rd Nier raid. "You can tell by looking in her eyes this isn't the first time she's fought naked"

I have a very low expectation in DF runs so people RP’ing in my run isn’t an issue so long they do not hinder the group severely.

There had been only 2 times I’ve encountered somebody RP’ing in run since my day 1:
• That SCH who had a fight with Lily, henceforth refuses to summon fairy for the entire length of Skalla duty. This one wasn’t rough because the SCH was pretty capable themselves to perform decently without fae.
• That WAR(?) in pre 6.1 Praetorium who made the entire monologue sections pretty entertaining to read. The sound effects used was a bit obnoxious but it’s not like there’s anything else to watch in MSR lol.

Closest I've seen was somebody accidentally putting their degeneracy in raid chat instead of tells. Extra points for the person in question being the wife of my old static's raid lead. The person she was ERPing with wasn't her husband. >_> Suffice it to say the static didn't last long after that little faux pas.

Alright, I lied, I HAVE seen once or twice some schmucks make rp comments during a dungeon roulette. But they have NEVER, EVER, EVER, EEEEEEVER slowly walk or halt our progress just because they were rp'ing.

You can actually report them for harrashment and hindering in completion of the content.

Also... if for RP reasons want to do, people should do it with people on the same page and not just waste other peoples time that want to get through the place as quick as possible.

I had a guy do this once in Crystalline Conflict which needless to say didn't really amuse me too much. After almost 2k roulettes I think I've seen people actually RP at all maybe 5 times. Pretty rare and most of them just type some random chat gibberish, I think I have only ever had 1 guy that i can remember doing the RP walk. I assume no-DPS healers are just idiots rather than RPers.

Occasionally I will role play as a highly skilled player in dungeons, Very occasionally.
