look, i have no interest in this puma shit, but... "mens'" clothing? pants, shorts and hoodies are only for men, then? the clothing is unisex. ffs the advertising even has Alisaie in it. they didn't "forget about female gamers" it's just that the particular style doesn't appeal to YOU and that's fine. it may appeal to some, it won't appeal to others, it has nothing to do with gender. there are plenty of women out there who wear pants and hoodies.

From the looks of things, many of these clothing items have either relaxed or oversized fits, which in of itself would fit a wider variety of people of different body shapes for a lower cost. Buying them would be similar to if you were going to get T-shirts from the SE store, since sex is also not mentioned anywhere. Only sizes are visible. All you have to do is simply get the size that matches closest to your body type, and you're good to go.
I don't entirely know what SE's intentions are, but they're free to make whatever merchandise/brand deals for whomever they want. It doesn't necessarily have to fit your body type, your curves, your height, crotch space, or your collar size. If you don't want it, don't pay for it. They're not obligated to make anything for you or anyone.
Several years ago for example, they collab-ed with Louis Vuitton for FF13 with tight fitting clothes that are clearly not catered to the average man's body proportions. I doubt anyone would care that they didn't also announce a line of clothes for Snow Villiers, or make a men's version of Lightning's Louis Vuitton clothes.

Person who wanted "Street Wear" in the game must have been the same person who thought this collab was a good idea.

Not really.
I like the street wear in game but I would never think overpriced graphic tees and sweatpants would be ideal (the shoes look nice though). ｡ﾟ(=ヮ=)ﾟ｡

Not only is the ad creepy, its also just weird in general and the clothes look bad as well, paying these prices for this is actual comedy, but I know some people will do it because of the small FF icon, which makes the original clothing triple in price just because of it

I'm a woman and I wear a lot of Puma stuff, I think I've been wearing Puma shoes for the last 15 years. I think the shoes are pretty in line with women's tennis shoes, they use colors that are common in the women's section. But let's be real, I don't think the actual clothes look good for anyone regardless of gender haha I think the only thing I would buy is a fat cat baseball cap because it's adorable. I would be interested in the hoodie that's covered in a ton of fat cats but $90 is insane for a hoodie when I already have a pile of hoodies that weren't $90. I think the most expensive hoodie I've ever gotten was a $70 Monster Hunter one from Fangamer, but that was a very high quality item.

I quite like the hoodie to be honest.

It's not even Final Fantasy clothing. It's too symmetrical and it doesn't have random stuff hanging off of it.

Tbh, I don't even try. The only "label" that I actually use are "boomer" because it has a historical context tying to perhaps the most important event of the 20th century. I don't know what all the other labels really are, but I do know that often time whenever they are used, it's not really in positive context. These label feels like they were created and pushed by bureaucrat and activist for the purpose of sawing division and creating the "us vs them" mentality.

Almost every time I see them used, it's meant for one group to look down or insult one another.

Im 33. I havent bought and worn (let alone walked into a PUMA store) since I was like... 17ish? 18? This seems wasteful of ideas. The incertcoin Paladin jacket was amazing. But this just seems tacky the more that I look into it lol. Adding insult of not being able to go to fanfest from no ticket sales or email for code to fanfest. Naaahhhh

I don't oppose this gear. It brings back some nostalgic vibes from high school.

I would totally glam the S**t out of this gear for my MNK if I could get a sports top to go with baggy pants and sneakers.

Puma in Japan-land is basically “school kid casual wear” for boys and girls. Including young 20-somethings. It’s considered casual wear or gym wear here. Like “gonna pop out to the 7-11 lemme throw on these sweatpants” casual.

Edit: would also add puma has a lot of collabs here in Japan. I guess you coulda gotten in USA too but I haven’t lived there in like 15 years…so I dunno.

Stuff like animal crossing hoodies or Pikachu shoes.

Honestly I feel like it comes down to fitting sometimes. IDK. I've been going to malls for clothes shopping with my brother a bunch and men's clothes are noticeably looser, baggier. I wander men's clothes sections because they resonate more with me, but I can definitely tell that a pair of shorts there isn't for me because of a greater "loose" look on the thighs for example. Women's clothes seem to be fitted more often to hug the form a tad more (not to say baggy women's clothes don't exist lol). There's probably OFC the difference in size measurements as well, like an M size for men looks different from an M for women.
