Again, personal opinion. The game gives me tons of things to do, easily worth the subscription. It's just as awesome and fun a game for me now as it's been the past many years. (And gotta love the guy complaining about 3.5-4 month patch cycles, while some other games have gone literally a year without a patch...)

Not a defense for it or anything, but some people spread themselves so thinly, and just play the game in such a way wherein they may not see the problems if you're being more 'selective'. I've been achievement hunting fairly lightly for 2-4 hours daily and have done since I would say.. 4.4-ish..?

For this reason alone, I'm simply less inclined to bump into such issues, which is why some people do, on top of this, there still being a fairly decent community within deep dungeons that like pushing said content to its limits, e.g., clearing PotD solo on ACN, and/or on as many classes as humanly possible.

Depending on how you play the game, or what you want out of it, yeah, you'll bump into issues with content more.

As much as I would prefer variance in farming the relic through tomes, it does give me an added incentive to participate in hunt trains, and equally gives me more time to work on other goals (e.g., Pteranodon, World-class Troller and the folklore fish) without necessarily feeling like I should be wholly consumed in farming for relics. Granted, this step was going to be largely deterministic on whether I do them all or just RPR/SGE. - I would feel the exact same even if it were FATEs, since I could just work on the Wivre mount then.

I'd personally like the beast tribe mounts to have actual unique music to those tribes. Cause this latest patch with loporits music is generic (like most of the tribes in the past expansions), and it's incredibly disappointing that the devs are getting lazier by the day on these coming out. Why are we still getting generic music for mounts instead of music fitting the mount?? >_>

Yeah...I mean, don't get me wrong. I've had more than my fair share of bones to pick, but I don't use the word "lazy" lightly. I may say something similar at times though because I may feel that not enough effort was put into something, but there is always at least some effort goes into things. Whether I agree with the implementation or not may be whole other story. I also never claim that there is no content because that is, by all accounts, false no matter how anyone slices it. I may not like my options at times, but I know it's there. It might come as a shock to some around here, but there are those among us who know when, where and how to pick our battles. :p

If a product is not up to a person's standard, then stop paying for that product. SQEX only sees one metric. Payment. If that dips, they know something is wrong. If it stays up where it is, then the people are enjoying the content that they want.

In the end, if you pay for it, then you are saying that the product is good.

One of my big metrics for quantity of content is repeatable, semi interesting casual content and about the only thing that fills that in EW is the deep dungeon and that’s really only if you do challenge runs for it, it by itself not much

Everything else has been a bust

Lack of content? Did you complete the new Ultimate? There is months worth of content only on progging it (depending on skill level of course)

Nah, just wanted to point out that it exists, came out in 6.31, and it’s worth a really big amount of hours.
You can say that there is content that you prefer to avoid, for whatever reason, and that’s fine. But don’t say that there is a lack of content when you are not playing a big portion of it.

Content to playerbase ratio is totally out of whack at the moment is the bigger problem that people are complaining about but not articulating well

Sure an extra ultimate is fantastic but ultimate is the 1% content

Where is the long term content for the “expert every day is boring but I don’t want to spend my entire life progging TOP”

What I’m trying to say is that it’s content, that everyone is paying for with the sub and ofc can play it. Only 1% of people completes it, yeah, but 100% are able to play it. It’s content worth probably more dev resources than any other (non MSQ), and I was surprised to not see it mentioned here.
But yeah, I totally agree with the last thing you said.

people at what point any one say there no content in the game? WE SAY there no NEW long lasting content. all the things in 6.x so far lasted 1 run or a weak at best . what we do the rest of the 4 month? as it stands now just play the last weak of 6.5 and you catch up.

Remember, things are never truly a problem until large numbers of both the JP and NA communities agree it's a problem. I remember when that happened for Eureka Pagos, that's how we all knew the devs screwed up royally. NA complains about everything. JP rarely does...so when they complain about it too, you know it's a problem.

If you want to see JP complaints you need to go off the official site.

Even so probably would have gotten a better response if they posted in the chat thread instead of making a new one. That's kind of a no-no unless its calls for a brand new thread. There's a reason why only the top couple of threads update and the rest tend to taper off.

Japanese over all better excepting low effort things. there less demand for more and better content in japan , as i can see lots of them want more easy to do things. sad but it is what it is.

like what speed we talking about here? people that only have 5 min a day to play?? no really did i missed the REALLY long quest line in 6.x? even the msq was on the short side of things. if some one is new to the game then yes he will have shit ton of older content he can try to do, some will not be possible as find people for it no longer a thing. but what older people THAT PAY for the game patch to patch supposed to do?

We agree with the post.

Chara digest at the difference of speed. Some chara chew and other is gulp it down. When chara buy the sushi set only clicking on it make the Well Fed+ appear. It is too fast. Sushi set it must be slow digest and enjoy not be gulping. When Grahad eating the delicious cheesie burger in favorite guild scene he eat too slow. It not make sense. Cheesie burger it is meat from the hunt. Is traditional dark European fantasy meal. It does not wait to be digest. Must be gulping it down with the delicious potat fry or it run away. Must have the priority.

Slow eating it have the place and fast digestion it have the place. Animation must show this.

Different people tbf. Myself and many other have expressed what I quoted before and have been called those very things. I've said many times the game is far from perfect and that I miss some things of old but that doesn't matter to some.

I RARELY see a praise thread on this site and the rare ones I do see get bombarded with negativity. On the flip side negative threads pop up here everyday basically. Also how can a thread be pointless yet be a praise thread? The literal perspose is to praise something therefore per your own statement it can't be pointless.

If we call people putting up praise threads whiteknights then we have to call folks putting up te opposite haters in fairness. OR we can skip the labels n call things simply way they factually are

Hate to agree, But i really haven't enjoyed anything in 6.x Shadowbringer did the game way better in all of its patches. Doesn't help they clearly don't know what their community wants anymore since they bathed the new weapons in the wrong color . .
