Petition for characters with a beer belly in 2.0

Doesn't have to be ridiculous funny rofl cartoon stuff even if you let people not look like barbie dolls.

but when i think back.. no final fantasy did ever had a non-rolemodel type of main character whether on the good nor on the evil side..


well steiner from FFXI was a little more bigger than the others.. or Quina. but all others have been always very thin. hm.
i think thats a japan thing from animes etc. where characters also look very "perfect" very often.


btw. i loved "Steiner" from FFIX ;)

I don't see how this could be an issue. We already have basically children running endlessly without needing to stop to catch their breath, thin as a rail catgirls wielding massive axes, and skinny humans with barely any muscle mass punching things to death. I don't find those any more believable than someone with a beer belly casting magic.

I support all manner of character modifications that allow me to make something either completely hideous or sexy. If I can make completely hideous, I can make nightmare fuel faces like I did back when I played Perfect World.

I support all possible customizations for characters too, whether they want to be fat and look like the only reason they kill something is because they fall over it, skinny and small that it's impossible to tell whether they're male/female/old/young, or like their curves and take on Heavy Metal 2000.

Should be allowed to give our characters unibrows too, and perhaps really ugly facial hair (on women too!).

Maybe it's less apparent on other races, but the bottom of the coat looks way too big on me...especially when riding a chocobo. If the clothing moved in a better way, maybe I wouldn't hate it so much, but it looks like a huge dress. :\

no it depends of which kind of material this "coat" is.

i dont think that it is too big on the bottom. it seems to be very "static" material.

all jokes aside it would be neat to have a gta: san andreas weight gain/muscle gain sorta of system but i think it'd be too strenuous for a system like that to be in a mmorpg, the eating of food would account for weight gain, but the amount of running and combat in this game you'd expect every character to be fit, maybe afkers should get forcibly fat unless they move around, or if you use your chocobo too much instead of running you'll start to gain?

I don't think having fat characters would turn this game into an M rating. Do you think simply having ugly design means it's suddenly too mature for younger viewers? Because by that logic, Teletubbies should be rated R.
