Subligar are easily the sexiest gear in the game!
I would be interested in an extensive catalogue of items to wear that are all stat independent.
And all armour stats are accomplished by affixing materia (with no risk) to whatever you are wearing (or some other means).
Therefore seperating 'stats' from 'aesthetics', and allowing us to wear what we wish ^.^
I hope we get more cute/sexy outfits soon as well OP ^^ It doesn't have to as crazy as Tera (Although that does not bother me, open minded ftw :) ) but maybe something similar to Tifa's outfit from FF7 or Rydia and Rosa from FF6..Beatrix from FF9 ^^ Ashe from FF12, etc.
Yes, your "wife" doesn't care about anything but looking sexy ingame... Sure. Well for YOUR elf, DRG or BRD seem to be the sexiest AFs
All I read:
Yes. Yes I do.

so much love for Eleven females in this thread.
I've always found most of them creepy, bar a few.
PUG, use a subligar and harness and your in.
Not AF, but I fancy me a Raptorskin Harness and Raptorskin Subligar ;v
Given, my only character is male, so I wouldn't call it sexy, but its probably the most revealing you'll get with battle armor.
That I could see in this game, maybe. Actually, a lot from FF12 I could see possibly fitting into this game. I wouldn't mind having Balthier's clothes for my Elezen ;x
Seriously.. Those pants belt and shoes I want for everything
As far as the sexiest females in the game... In my opinion, Elezen females got it down. They've got an elegant frame, the most filled out body, and they make any NQ a +1 by putting it on. Hyur females would get the honorable mention.
Miqo'tes and Lalafels are too cute... It feels like playing with some tweens or children, respectively. But, if that is your thing, run with it.
It'll be interesting to see what the Roega-dames bring to the table... They seem a bit amazonian, which is a bit intimidating. They are gonna be the doms of Eorzea. Haha.
This is utter rubbish and very offensive to the female gaming community. The same bloody cliché as women playing naked and sucking on a controller calling themselves gamer girls.
One thing is your wife and some others like to be sexy, which is no problem, after all as you said, it's a fantasy game and you play what you want to be. But please don't say something like this.
Us real gamer girls like to optimize our gear and look pro, rather than have our curves remarked.
I love how you say that I think that we should be no gender blobs. People can have the appearance of any gender they choose.
LOL sensibility to look into the reason why a woman seeks to expose her body?
Let me go into this deeper then
Woman
Receives less attention from any form of life who's opinion they care about.
Dresses 'sexy' to receive attention from other life forms.
?????
profit
Regardless, I think a woman can be sexy without showing skin. I'm not saying go wear burkas, but being overly sexy pretty much puts women into the brainless, 'only for sexual use' mould that they have been trying to work themselves out of. I don't like it when people, regardless of gender are stereotyped into molds that are not true.
I mean, when people look at a police officer, they see his uniform, and then say 'hey you're a police officer because you look like one!" when a woman wears the 'uniform' of a whore, what do you expect others to think? And if you think looking like someone who needs to exchange sexual services for money is helping women out somehow, I would love to know how.
People can do what they want regardless of my opinion, It just sucks having to live with the stereotypes those people form.
I like my Reindeer Suit... that's cute.
I'll be honest, I was expecting to see "Women who dress like whores deserve to be treated like whores." or some other s**t like that. Women can dress how they like and it's not your place and it's not anyone's place to even suggest otherwise. In New York it's even legal for a woman to be topless in public all together and IMO, that should be the case everywhere! Does that make them "whores"? NO. It makes them proud of their bodies and your mentality of "women should cover up" has hurt society more than the other side of the argument.
Please take your ranting of how other women should dress elsewhere, this is a thread about sexy (or the lack of sexy) in game clothes for FFXIV.
Thank you! <3
I don't mind anyone wanting to be sexy or even playing a game just to do that, but saying that's the main motivation for all female players is just a big load of rubbish (it would be the same than saying all male players just want to see some sexy galka butt in a subligar, which is what some people do, sure, but certainly not everyone).
I apologize for the bit of off topic here, just wanted to tell Bebe she's my hero.
No screenshot, but an artwork

I find the female Elezeen and Hyur sexy in this picture. Miqo'te is cute.
Man, have you seen the late-game Felt Bliaud? It's so hot. :3 Thaumaturge -does- do a lot of running around in heavy-ass coats and robes before then, though.
Also yeah Bard AF is totally worth leveling Archer to 50 for. :D
MEANWHILE IN BIZZARO TERA FORUMS...
All well and good, but if you want to dress like a brainless tramp then expect to be treated like a brainless tramp. Don't sit there and try to tell people you have every right to dress like a street walker but everyone has to treat you like a college professor. You present yourself that way, expect to be treated that way.
Honestly if your wife just wants to run around looking sexy and could care less about stats or anything of the sort I think there are deeper issues that need some looking into
The sexiest class job armor is the Roegadyn class as the Male job. I highly suggest your wife utilize the roegadyn male OR highlander male subligar. Equip the subligar with default undershirt *starts fanning self* whew, gettin' all hot and steamy just thinkin' abou~~~OMG12 there's pix in the thread! YETH!!! *foams at the mouth and swoons*
She's one my new heroes too!
gotta play your strengths! or that perfect combination of sexy and cute ;D

People can dress however they want. Clothes don't make the person and if someone wants to judge someone based on appearance then go for it. :/
It's always the people that know you the least, that judge you the most. When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself. Don't criticize someones flaws and mistakes if you can't even see your own. We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It's one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it's another to think that yours is the only path.
So please don't judge someone solely by their appearance/clothing style. It is silly. I have seen way worse attention seekers on vent then I have from random people wearing "Sexy" clothes.
Also there is no point in saying "gamer girl" gamer is just a gamer. Man or woman..no difference.
Since this is going way off topic...inb4 lock. 8D
Clothes do make the person.
Right or wrong, ideal or not. This is the reality. Today's society (in most parts of the world) will judge a person based on their clothing and physical appearance.
If a person chooses to ignore this, then they must pay the consequence. If they can not understand this, then they will pay the consequences.
If you dress up what your local society deems inappropriate, you will be pointed out for it. To expect all of society to change because of you is unrealistic.
If this were not the case, I could dress up as my favourite Anime characters all day long and not be bothered by anyone. Or move to San Francisco where you can do that ^.^;
Back on topic: Most of the gear is designed artistically and to portray a purpose beneath them. With enough work you can put together an attractive and functional outfit. However, there may be a limit to how naughty your outfit can get as that is not one of the driving forces behind this game.
So the lesson for the day?
If you want to ask a question and get a serious answer, don't do it in the General Discussion!
If a woman dresses in clothes that show a little skin or cleavage, how does that make them look brainless, please enlighten me. And how do you make the leap of "showing some skin" to "dressing like a street vender"? Honestly... And who said anything about being treated like a professor? As a matter of fact I said NOTHING of what you're talking about.
Oh wait, you were talking about the STEREOTYPE that women who aren't afraid to look sexy are stupid and whores. Nevermind, continue being a biggot. I'll just ignore you from now on.
^ This.
Ignore me all you want, it doesn't change the way the world works. People will judge you based on what you wear, and if you wear clothes that reveal large amounts of exposed skin people will assume it's because you have nothing else worth showing off.
Let me make it easier for you to understand. Two men walk into a job interview at a lawyer's office. One is wearing a suit and tie, has his face shaved and his hair nicely combed. The other has a half-beard, tattoos, a tongue piercing and plugs in his ears. Which do you think is more likely to get the job?
You can say all you want but you know damn well the guy in a suit will be taken more seriously and be more likely to get the job. You may not like it, but the world doesn't work in your myopic little fantasy land where people can do whatever they want but no one has the right to treat them differently. People will judge you based on appearances because it's the first thing they notice about you.
Try telling all those women who don't get a job because they have facebook pics of them in their underwear drinking beer that they can "wear whatever they want", let me know how hard they laugh at you.
"You only get one chance for a first impression." It's an old saying, not because people say it all the time, but because, like all other sayings, it is true and profound.
Sexiness is like cat ownership, drinking alcohol, pierced ears, and using digital lens flares.
All can be potentially classy in moderation, yet all are gutter-trash tacky in excess.
