I wonder if Hali would be better for them, her being both buxom and a well known boss in two (albeit old) FFXIV instances.

Maduin might have less pull to people who haven't played the original games.

Never owned one not even after they allowed you to go in daily cause I was a poor cat girl. You had to sponsor runs back during the days where there was a long lockout timers on them. I did however learn a few swears in French as the people who were in charge of my group were all French. That is until they all quit and were smart/dumb enough to hand the linkshell ownership over to me.

Remember this is just the first set. They said they wanted to have the new DCs to have eight worlds attached to them.

Wait, so even on new servers the housing lottery is still going to be a thing for say the first set of buy outs?

I hate the lottery with a passion and besides that, I figured they would want to disable it at the start in order to get the wards filled up more quickly to help liven them up and whatever.

Part of the login process happens at the data center level and the current loads are straining things. That's why they're creating a new data center just as they did for JP earlier this year (though JP only had worlds moved to it, no new worlds created).

I'm fully expecting SE to slap all NA worlds with the Congested status when Dynamis opens to force new character creation to happen on the new data center. Data center travel means friends will still be able to play with friends.

Yes. Lottery for personal housing will be in place, the wards still split (ratio unknown), and 30 days formation time before FCs can bid for their houses.

The chances of a house though will be higher as there will be less competition, If EU is a guide there will still be many thousands of empty plots left even after a few rounds.

My suggestion to everyone is still to skip the S-class plots and focus on something realistic.

Yes, the lottery is here to stay.

At least on the new worlds there shouldn't be that much competition except for the larges during the first lottery period. FCs will still have to wait 30 days before they get their turn at the FC wards.
