New NA Data Center will be Dynamis

Dynamis is tentatively set to open on November 1st.

The worlds will be:

Halicarnassus
Maduin
Marilith
Seraph

First housing lottery is tentatively set to begin on November 5th. The ward split was not announced though I expect at first it will be 1-12 for FC and 13-24 for personal like it was on the new EU worlds. Newly formed FCs will no doubt still have the 30 day waiting period before they can enter for a house.

Also, there are plans to add additional wards to all worlds but it's still in the planning stages so they can't give us more information yet.

Maduin - an esper and a temporary playable character in Final Fantasy VI.

Marilith - a fire elemental from the FF series

Seraph - an angel — a heavenly, human-like creature with wings, used by Scholars.

Seraph is also an Esper in FFVI and Marilith was one of the four fiends of Chaos in FFI (in the original NES version she was translated as 'Kary').

And as well as the story importance here in FFXIV in EW, Dynamis is also an area in FFXI (it was a dreamworld made by Diabolos where the Crystal War never ended, and was basically FFXI's original 'endgame'). So it's fitting to be used as the new data centre name.
