They can add instance housing and keep the wards we do have or refund some of the gil back for the houses if they have to demolish it. The main issue with housing right now is the fact that we have this terrible ward system for "neighborhood feel".

I'd say you're overlooking a significant number of factors. Tell every FC their airships/subs will be demo'd and they have to start from scratch. Tell every seasonal item collector that their items will be destroyed. Tell everyone that finally just got their house that they've been wasting their time.

I can't say I'd see them rolling this out unless they go real quiet on housing updates for a while, and the fanbase just won't let them do that.

Personally, I view these requests on the same level as someone asking for NPC dating elements, or horizontal gear/leveling, "sub-jobs" etc. Rather than trying to force this game to fit your needs, folks would be far better off looking elsewhere for what they want. And honestly, chances are nobody's ever going to find a game that hits everything 100% right.

I replied to quickly but yes I agree with you.
In my FC, I did all the workshop craft by myself so yes, I know it’s a lot of work.
Idem for housing exclusive items, i think the demolishing should include us getting our stuff back, of course.

Or you know, you dont have to demo at all, just transfer the house to instanced like how you did with current housing system. Only difference would be possibly paying the difference or none at all

Aren't you that tin can head character that keeps trolling around the thread that thinks housing system is perfectly fine because you own multiple plots?

Why don't you go spend your time somewhere else instead of telling people to stop complaining just because you have multiple large houses and try to prove your site works when it had been misinformation and outdated for several years?

Hi, I own two houses, a personal and an FC. I still want instanced housing because other people getting more does not mean I have less, and everyone who can scrape the gil together should be able to buy a house.

That is the perfect attitude to take! I mean, I made quite a bit of Gil after the last two rounds selling household items. Think of the market if yards and larger housing options were available for all to obtain.

1: Housing isn't fine because prices need to be readjusted upwards and personal housing is still impeding FC housing.
2: How do you know I currently own multiple plots?
3: How do you know I currently own multiple large plots?
4: Please demonstrate such "misinformation" and what is "outdated".

Definitely instanced housing will make the players to have their own houses for good.

Getting tired of having people being gated from a minor content that should not be limited in any cost.

Yes, I care about neighborhoods. I'm a designer. I need foot traffic. The myriad venues that popped up since we're able to tag locations need foot traffic. Just because YOU don't care about neighborhoods doesn't mean others don't.

Keep your neighbor house then. Apartments aren't going to be fixed because of you anti-Private Instanced House folks are too carebear about a neighbor that doesn't build their home or that's owned by you allegedly.

People are here to ask for housing of their choice. Apartment doesn't have that choice because 1. Room is small 2. No gardening/outdoor furnishing 3. no way to upgrade and it makes no sense on how to upgrade it into large mansion interior. Not to mention, no one can share the room by placing furnishing and edit the home together.

Otherwise, go troll somewhere else.

Exactly, I've never seen people who have spoken out about them liking neighborhoods. Rather, they were complaining that it's breaking their RP theme immersions due to someone putting up moogle house in Shirogane

What foot traffic? Wards are absolute ghost towns and unless people are specifically invited, noone's gonna be popping around. And who's to say you wouldn't be able to do that with instanced housing?

I don't care what Square Enix does to give us more housing. WE NEED. MORE HOUSING.

I'm in one of the busiest worlds. On any given day, there is absolutely zilch foot traffic.

Any majorities have their servers and wards show 0 activities as neighbors.

Even RP servers like Balmung and Mateus.
