As far as i see from your profile, you only have the basic pvp mount (obtainable by a proper farming with no real win conditions), not even a single mount from feast leaderboard which mean you probably play pvp as casual like any pve player, so i don't rly get the point to be agressive and angry when you barely have anything to pretend to be better than them.

if only you were a top 20 pvp player in the feast leaderboard, i could understand.

so please, for the next time you wanna act awful, show us some achievements to backup your words, because atm, you just look toxic for nothing.

OT : I don't care if garo's event come back or not, but if it does, i'll be more than happy to finally get those horse i missed the last time.

First of all, if you want to do that forum history please do make sure you also at least browse post history a little.
This is an alt account and I have mentioned that in recent post.

Second, no one will be using Feast for garo event because mount requires you to win 100 matches with Garo title.
Do some basic research first at least before you spit out non sense.

3rd, how many times I need to state in this thread, I dont cares about a half baked mode like Feast.
I also ranked in Feast, it is not like it is super hard.
Anyone has free time to Q non stop and not awful can make into ranked
Since you did half ass work in profile stalking, remove "s" from this profile and the character attached to the profile is the main.

Last word, I can see why that guy is describing EU Frontline as hellish nightmare now
I kinda can fell his pain now.

You just need 30 feast matches for yellow horse, 10 frontline / rival wings matches for white horse, and 60 matches (whether it's frontline or rival wings or feast) for black horse.

I really hope it comes back, I loved that event! And it kept the pvp queues active almost all the time! I got most of the things, but I didn't get the female variants of the gear, which are the nicer looking ones. I still want a chance to get those! But they'll have to replace the feast achievements, since that's not a thing anymore.

It occurred to me that with the recent trend of making at least some gear gender-neutral, doing that for the Makai sets would be a neat way of adding "more gear" without developing new designs. The only thing that's really strongly gendered is the dress under the coat for the Manhandler/Moon Guide design, and to a lesser extent the Markswoman (though with a name like that I guess making it neutral seems a little odd!). Other than that, it's mostly a collection of cool coats and headpieces, with one role-shared design of pants/shorts and boots per gender.

So I think it would be cool to make both designs work for both genders, with a bit of editing on the Moon Guide front. Or at least make the headpieces equippable.

Making the level 1 versions freely equippable by all jobs would be nice too, but they don't seem to do that for PVP glamours.

Oh, I know.
Back then it was 8v8v8 more often. Which was way more fun.
I can believe there being 24 people interested in PvP on ... sometimes.
Even though the queues tended to take over an hour to pop.
And they were STILL filled mostly with people, like me, that just wanted some tomestones, but weren't in the mood to queue for anything that'd be likely to pop.

They've been doing that for all the pvp gear that came out since the Stormblood rework. The old gear had level requirements because it had stats relevant to pvp, they just never bothered to update those pieces besides switching out the removed pvp stats for normal substats.

I know they're level 1, but they're still role-locked. That's what I'm talking about. The level 1 versions of the Garo sets from the Gold Saucer are likewise still role-locked despite being purely for glamour.

I did read, alt or not it doesn't matter : you act toxic, show backup or stay silent and even on your main, you're a litteral nobody, not even ranked in your own datacenter for the frontline.

from my pve boy Pov, you remind me those guys talking shit about wf players but clearing savage week 60 with echo.

Also 1 or more garo's mount require you to farm feast but i'm sure you just probably forgot :rolleyes:

Feast is actually the most relevant pvp mode if you want to show some skills, that's why there is a leaderboard with exclusive reward for the top 100, you can compare it to arena in wow.

That achievement can be acquire via training mode. Some will do low tier Feast but overall entire Feast was not impacted. It was Frontline that suffered

Feast is actually the most relevant pvp mode if you actually want to show some skills, that's why there is a leaderboard with exclusive reward for the top 100, you can compare it to arena in wow.

Talking like all pve players are bad and hurt your pvp boy experience, but y, no way close to toxic.

I’d rather them spend the time and money on making future events not be just a fate. Or making new content. The halloween one we got is fun. Everytime they do stuff for side things we get lesser of new stuff that everyone will enjoy.

If they bring it back they will likely shift the Feast achievements to be Crystal Conflict instead. Quite likely keeping the current progress you have on them at that.

Many many many players who have started in the last year or so really like these old events coming back so we can get the old rewards too.

As someone who has done every single limited event since I started....I've had exclusivity enough that I don't care if they bring them back for newer players to get the stuff. It would be nice for those that really want the gear to be able to get it, without paying a premium on the Mogstation, but I also understand that SE is typically more likely to put it on the station than bring events back 3-4 times.

Certainly would love to see the armors become available to obtain again, but yea... It's not Square's decision. I don't know who holds the rights to the Garo series, it's them who have to allow Square to use their stuff. Otherwise the event probably would've stayed permanently...

From what I remember, it's the two teams trying to push a crystal along the winding path to the opposite goal. It's a 5v5, and that's basically all I remember about it. Someone else might have more info that I may have missed.

Well a big issue with Feast was the reward system and the new PvP changes promised to change how rewards are obtained it so it will be probably for the better :p

Most likely they will end up doing that if they bring it back. I mean, the Yo-Kai one had weapons for RDM, SAM, DNC, and GNB when it came back(or was it just DNC and GNB....can't remember if it was 4 or 2 more)

It's supposed to have job-specific LBs, but that's the only other thing I remember.

Just gotta pray they will try do something with licenses.

Agreed. I typically only play content with set goals in mind. For example, if I need bath towels I will play PvP or for some glam. But right now I don't really have the motivation to play it regularly. Garo would be more than enough motivation to play it almost every day. There are so many things I missed out from that event and it irks me. Square Enix, you have the money and power, please make it happen :)

I mean, they don't have bleach in this game so you have to get rid of the crusty mold somehow and the only way is to throw the old ones at your enemies in battle and come back with fresh ones from your victory. Without house sitters or maids cleaning your house, being away for like a year fighting things can lead to some serious cleanliness and house maintenance concerns if you think about it. It's... uh. I remember looking into this when the thing was around before, and being a little overwhelmed. Because it's a TV series (which I think ran for one season) that's sort of like... feudal fantasy superheroes? But it's also a series of novels. And an anime. Or three anime? Some anime, anyway. Also some other novels. Also a few video games. Also some additional TV series. And then maybe another anime. And...

Around that point I got dizzy and stopped trying to figure out what it was, and just went "Yeah okay I like those healer gloves and the monk weapons, I'll go PvP for the glam."

From what I understand, the stuff we see in this event is based on the live action series. I'm not sure if they are open to pulling from the anime. I think because of the mature nature of the show they aren't willing to go for full on cross promotion with this event, and that might be why the event has such a subtle presence in the game. Also many of the shows are not easily accessible to the casual viewer outside Japan. Some stuff here and there on streaming, and you can buy discs, but it's something you have to be looking for.

Anyway, my biggest wish for this event would be to make the gear storable in the armoire.

if they do bring it back, I hope they add new glams for new classes.

I would like for it to come back. I really liked the glams, I just didn't have much time for PVP while it was up. I only managed to get a couple sets.
