Welcome back bot troll.
Leaving aside the high probability of this being YATT (Yet Another Troll Thread), this part actually isn't true. The first boss drops puddles of Yuck which are then blown across the arena by wind, traveling either north or south from their original position; though the direction of movement is indicated visually by wind rather than by the usual arrows on the AoE indicators, the mechanic is still functionally an exoflare in any way that matters.
On a side note, any of the people that ran this dungeon with trusts got the Starbird as a drop? I would like to know if its possible to get it that way. Thanks in advance for any info!
Ahh, a new TitanMen alt.
Ngl, that 2nd boss was a pain in the butt. Wiped 5 times first try through, but have been getting progressively better. Last run I did, I didn't wipe once the whole run with a trust. Now, time to do it with other players. Hopefully I will be able to hold my own.
You guys give programs too much credit. The Trust's aren't AI. they just heavily scripted bots, to avoid all the mechanics... follow them and win. They do minimal amount of DPS.
Leaving aside that DBM hasn't worked with FF 14 since 2016, the way mechanics are found in this game is good old fashioned trial and error. Even Cactbot doesn't get updated until people have cleared it and can give a confirmed timeline through playing the encounter out.
Assuming OP is being sincere, and should others come into the final dungeon confused why it feels so much harder:
Every expansion feels this way mostly because you tend to be overgeared or overleveled when you go through older content. For example you would have originally gone through 2.0 level 50 dungeons with iLVL 50 to about 90. Now you are easily over 130.
There is a auto sync now, but I’m not convinced it downsyncs gear so much as dungeons just hurt less with higher gear.
The mechanics of the dungeons are not particularly harder than any others, just that mistakes are more punishing.
I honestly have more problems with the first boss in that instance. Visually for me it's a mess because I can't see half the shit on the floor with all the smokey effects on top of everything. The rest for me is easy.
Decent bait.
Well ppl making threads complaining about MSQ trials and solo duties in past expansions basically got roasted so now they're trying a 4 player duty instead.
I apologize on behalf of all the SMNs out there who are now blocking visualizations with big booty Titan.
Titan? Oh you mean the chicken nugget that occasionally falls from the sky?
I will admit the first time I ran a dungeon with a Summoner after the rework I just happened to be on that precisely perfect angle where I got a screen full of Titass and buttflaps lol
I have since learned to keep an appropriate angle away from Summoners or run the mini command XD
Happy New Year to you too, TitanMen
My first time I almost had a timeout. Playing with the NPC. I got used to it the third time. But sometimes I still miss something with the second boss.
I think Tower of Zot is the hardest dungeon. I still need good luck to avoid all aoe. Only follow NPC is not enough. Player have to be proactive there.
this dungeon was easy. are you ok
The second boss in the Dead Ends is some of the most fun I've had in a dungeon in a long time, and it's not frustrating like Mist Dragon could be.
Please don't take this from me, SE.

There are visual indicators for every mechanic in that dungeon. If you don't know what to look for, watch a guide or ask someone.
this is obvious fearmongering.
plenty of indicators, and nothing I would consider "hardcore"
seriously, I am not even an honorable mention in the list of "somewhat decent on occasion" players, but I would not consider this dungeon "hardcore"
this is simply one trolls attempt to incite people into thinking Yoshi and team are selling out to the Ion mentality
As far as I'm aware the dead ends has indicators for everything.
Hardest boss for most people is the first one mostly from not grasping the wind mechanic but after that it's a breeze for most people even like the extreme novices
Wait, heroes gauntlet was hard?
I get where OP is coming from I guess, EW dungeons were a step up from previous story dungeons, that is for sure. For a casual player it was probably rough going.
I had an absoulete blast running the blind in the first few days because they actually required you to think and learn on the job, sure we wiped a handful of times during all the dungeons in normal party finder, but that was the fun part. It wasn't a boring "seen it all before" series of dungeons.
I had the distinct advantage of being a tank though (WAR no less) so I could get away with murder...the poor DPS and Healers in those first few days who also ran them all blind though...RIP my dudes. xD (Running them as DRK now and I'm still saving people almost every run with the TBN lol)
Loved the dungeons and Pandemonium, Ex Trials next
Ra-La is a joke once you realize he just jumps all over the place. The second boss though, yeah he's a problem.
OP definitely getting all the new people who don't know their post style...
Also they definitely read TFDF... "waiting for people to complain about Extreme or Savage mechanics in Expert" was almost verbatim said in one of those threads. I wonder how much inspiration they pull from there
God forbid anyone actually has to learn mechanics by experiencing them rather than just face-rolling through or needing a guide to watch.

Sometimes it is incomprehensible to me how people on the way from level 1 to 90 regularly either unlearn mechanics or lose the competence to draw logical conclusions based on observing what works and doesn't work during a boss fight.
Like they let someone else level their character or bought the level 80 jump potions.
Speaking as a casual player, these fights were easy. First blind runs had a few bumps, but after seeing the mechanics it was easy enough to pick up on. Casual does not mean bad. Casual just means we don't focus on raids and hardcore content, or play at the bleeding edge.
