You're a peach yourself, dear.

But does this thread correlate in any way with the servers issues? I don’t think people working on the servers are the same as the ones working on hairstyles, gear adjustment and so on. I don‘t understand why having the server issues should result in not voicing an opinion, which isn‘t even remotley related to the server issue.
To go back on topic.
I‘m glad they are „finishing“ the races first and I‘ll wait another 2 years for more hairstyles if it means people can get to play fem hroths! (I‘m really hopeful this is not the case tho, and they can work on both simultaneously!)
I agree with OP on the extra hairstyles we got tho. I think there could have been more popular choices they could have worked on. Let‘s hope we see more added in the near future.
Oh yeah. Mhm sis, slay with those pesky arguments of yours! Wig snatched the house boots down!
For real tho, try not to adress me directly next time because I don't want anything to do with your musty-ness. You seem like an overal dissatisfied with your life person who's trying to project their dissatisfaction on others and it's just not my vibe. Make this message from me to you be the last one ever, sis!
Personally I think it's just a matter of creating Male Viera, and you know, the whole entire Endwalker expansion.
Extra hair options on existing races were a nice bonus, and I'm sure more will come with time. Fem Hrothgar need to be a priority at this point for sure! And perhaps now that FFXIV is finally the top dog in terms of profit for SE they might add some people to the team. That would be cool.
This thread making a "Formal Complaint" because someone didn't get their Karen hairstyle is kinda funny though.
Despite my distaste over how certain people are conducting themselves in this thread, you are correct. Whataboutism will get us nowhere and other issues in the game does not absolve the game and its devs of legitimate criticism over the lack of customization options for viera (and hrothgar) which have been in the game now for around two years.
That said, it also isn't a high priority issue and in addition I feel that it can be a little distasteful because Viera at least have gotten -some- hairstyles relatively recently unlike the previously mentioned Hroths. Very "looking a gift horse in the mouth"-esque.
i gotchu fam no worries.

There are More important things to worry about in this game then some hair for a race you get your hair when time comes.
Look at the "challenge" they "gave" me and the absolute irony of it.
Now kissth
Anyway OP, I think they'll get to it. They told you to post it here because when things pick up enough steam, they do make it to the people who matter. Unfortunately it's a rather complicated time right now. Is there perhaps already a thread on Viera hairstyles? It might be best to boost that one back up or remake after the 6.1 or whatever it is patch if by then they still havent done any updates. If it comes to that, be sure to make the title about viera hair.
I think what everyone might be forgetting is that anybody that works on server-related issues is probably more likely than not, not the same team that would work on hairstyle or player-model related issues. They are not the same thing and can be worked on at the same time without pulling resources from the other. Assuming SE structured their teams in a way that every other single game dev company structures their teams, of course. I'm not going to assume the best here because that only bites me in the ass every time I do it, but I'm dearly hoping they didn't hire Johnny Modeller to fix server issues.
Viera do need more hairstyles. It's why I went right back to my Highlander after a couple months. The fact that it took an entire expansion to add six (and not even all the ones that cost real money) is honestly really terrible considering how much money this game makes.
The forums are the place for complaints and feedback. However, the community team has said before that they tend to pay attention to the most active threads, and point the development team (or other appropriate folks) at those threads for attention.
Posting one thread collecting all the issues/feedback (and yes, complaints) about login queues? That's likely to be productive, or at least to get seen by the dev team. Posting eleven thousand individual short threads complaining about the same thing? First off, it just clutters the forum so that literally no other issue can be discussed -- witness that OP said they had to wait for the queue posts to die down in hopes of having this post get noticed -- but secondly, it means you have dozens of little short threads which aren't likely to trip the 'active thread' status and draw notice from the community team (and thus potentially get forwarded on to the devs).
Most of the folks I've seen going "one more thread on this? Really?" about complaint threads are trying to point out the fact that it is best for everyone -- the folks trying to use the forums for anything else, and the folks who want the devs to hear their complaints/concerns -- to have one really active thread about a given concern than to have seventy-four individual threads which are all only 3 pages long.
They could maybe do so in a less exasperated manner, but honestly, the advice to keep complaints collected into specific threads is meant to benefit everyone.
To be fair, this isn't asking the game to "cater to us" so much as criticising how they introduced two races whose customization they obviously couldn't handle, and have now taken nearly three years to actually address. While it's undoubtedly a low priority issue, it's still very much people's right to criticise them for it. Although, the OP is only referring to female Viera hairstyles, this pertains to Hrothgar and hats as a whole. There's no excuse for how long they've taken. Keep in mind, they originally said they would be working on hats all the way back in 5.1. We're now approaching 6.05 and it's still a meme.
I'll just continue quietly waiting for my Gyr Abanaian Plait to be added and pray it isn't three years from now.
