A Formal Complaint

I sent an email to SE but was informed that I need to redirect my complaint towards the forums in order for them to receive feedback. Not entirely sure how effective this will be or if anyone from SE will even see this (Doubt it), but okay I will try.

The issue I have is the lack of communication from SE in regards to Viera's hairstyles. There has been minimum communication on if the 6 hairstyles we received in Endwalker will be all, or if we should expect to see more in future. However, I still believe it is appalling that after over 2 years of waiting, we only received just 6 hairstyles. Why? Because I believe that instead, Male Viera were being worked on instead of SE fixing the pre-existing issues with female Viera. But what's done is done, I'm still bitter but I digress.

Out of the 6 hairstyles, only 1 hairstyle appeals to me and that is the Lightning one. Furthermore, I have yet to see ANY Viera in-game wear the other 5 hairstyles - it was such an abnormal selection and I would like to know why they chose these 6 out of all the popular modern aesthetics? Who actively selected these and why were they chosen above all the rest?

Modern Aesthetics: Both ways, Form and function and greater lengths would've been outstanding choices and I can guarantee we'd see a lot of Viera's change their hair to either of those three. But instead, we have the majority of the Viera still sticking to their race exclusive hair due to the new hair being... Well, lack of a description, not to everyone's taste.

I would like Square Enix to be more informative of what's happening with this situation. I need to know if I should stick out being a Viera for even longer, or am I going to splash the cash and pay for a name change as well as a fantasia? I don't want to tolerate another 2 years to get another 6 hairstyles - at first I was perfectly okay with it but honestly, now it is unbelievably tedious. I consider myself a patient individual but due to the lack of communication; my patience is wearing thin.

I didn't expect them to throw a lot of hairstyles at us all at once. They like to space things out. I do think we'll see another 6 with 6.1 and more as we more through expansion. Would be nice if they communicated that however so people at least know what to expect.

I'm currently using two of the new styles on two of my alts and am very happy with them. I want more too.

Odd that they would tell you to direct your complaints to the forums. Cause all this week when people were/are upset about all the ques and DC's, people are consistently saying forums are not the place for all the complaints. Hmmmm. Maybe it is like Blizzard where they only want to hear about positive shit and not the negative stuff.

There's a difference between making one thread, like the OP did here. And making a hundred, often anywhere from 5 to 10 from the same users even, every time saying the same damn thing and refusing to acknowledge any valid arguments from 'the white knights', also, you just couldn't bring the topic up without name calling..?

Wait. what ? Name calling. Help me out here. If I did something wrong tell me so I can correct, if possible. Obviously I hit a nerve in my statement.

I feel like we'd get much farther in these discussions if we dumped the phrases and words like 'white knight', 'entitled', and 'childish', but I suppose the people using those would resort to even dumber phrases instead.

As for the actual topic, I would probably wait until 6.1 to really make a judgement, I can't imagine that the team isn't making more hairstyles for Viera in general, especially since they just released male Viera.

I'm LITERALLY doing what they asked me to do. I waited 3 days for the whole 'que posts' to die down but they're still going strong so figured I'd throw my complaint in the mixture. No one can complain though, must be nice to see a post about something other than the que times/refunds.
