Now there's a sentence I never thought I'd see.
What a plot twist.

"Search results will no longer include parties you cannot join due to the "One Player per Job" setting being enabled."
Why. I can change jobs if needed, I'd like to see all the options.
I don't think it's that the development team don't care so much as a lot feedback is not necessarily reaching them. There's a lot of threads here that have reached impressive levels of support but were seemingly not passed on as feedback to the development team.
For example, a great many people have consistently been asking for more facial hair options for male characters. Despite being a fairly common request, however, Yoshi-P wasn't aware of it - but then he acknowledged it in an interview and now we're getting a brand new face for Midlander men complete with the same stubble used in the promotional trailers/in-game footage.
It would, of course, help immensely if our community representatives were a more visible and active presence, though for whatever reason they seem to only really stick to Twitter these days. Which is, perhaps, why so many niche requests seem to be prioritised over more popular ones!
Incidentally, I made a thread about that particular subject, as found here:

Now if we could only get an option to display debuffs only (instead of the 30 dots) on mobs that would be great. I don't care about other's dots, but I do care about knowing when Trick attack is up, or Reprisal is on a boss.Quote:
The Conditional Enhancements category has been added to the HUD Layout interface.
From the System menu, open the HUD Layout interface. After selecting any of the Status Info categories from the dropdown menu, open the UI Element Settings menu. Then, under Layout, select "Split Element into 4 Groups."
Would also be wonderful for an ability to lower mob flashy spell effects. I can lower them on players but not mobs.
Allowing both sexes to wear that gear will make creating glamours for my female retainers and alts sooo much easier. Hooray for new glamour plates!!
And I will continue to keep in my search info "I do not raise to macros."
Some of them are obnoxious and call out a player for dying such as one recently "your parents didn't raise you so I will."
"Haha you're dead."
These are stupid and annoying and this new feature makes them useless now and inexcusable.
To be completely fair, the only "new hairstyles" Viera are getting are old hairstyles that had been released in ShB, as well as the legacy hairstyle in the example picture that every other race (except for Hrothgar) has access to. So no, they're not really getting new hairstyles, just finally access to hairstyles that everyone else has access to, which is more than fair as they're finally trying to catch up the races they added in customization to everybody else. Hopefully from this point going forward, whatever hairstyles they add in the future are automatically fit to all races head so no one is left out on customization options.
Guess I'm a midlander now.
*runs to buy Fantasia*
Square forgot New Zealand in the data center map graphic.

Pretty lack luster customization + resource wasting. Hopefully the story and classes will be cool
Intrigued about the new face option for male Midlander Hyur.
So many nice QoL changes AND FINALLY THE GLAM UNLOCKS ARE ADDED!!!~ Those updated sets have been in the game files for so long no just sitting pretty for release. I can finally, finally wear my thav set again on my main :')
It doesn't need to be new-design new. Just an existing model repainted in appropriate colours so they're not missing out on the free i430 equipment as they enter the level 80 zone.
I'll be surprised if they get the Midlander variant. My money has been on Miqo'te from the beginning, and their dreadful posture seems to confirm it.
Viera uses Midlander and Hrothgar uses Roegadyn – the specific existing races that their models and emotes seem to have been derived from.
Kind of sad now that I look at the notes again. Last night on the locked outfits they were changing they had the ones from the XIII event and I was rather excited to see that change finally.. guess they changed their minds? xD
Yay more feminine healing glams….sigh. When are we going to get some masculine ones. They really couldn’t have made Rydia’s outfit look better on males?
Looks pretty good to me, though I don't think it really complements a tall, muscular male Au Ra too well. On shorter races I think it will look okay. It's not a robe. It's a fancy shirt with pants. Both of those things are pretty big deviations from what they've done before in regards to healers and casters.
Some more genderlocks lifted - this is great news! Unfortunately, still doesn't have the amazing Ishgardian Thighboots that only females can wear (for some reason since these aren't even feminine, I don't understand).
Dyable AF gear without jumping through more hoops is a great change, although I wonder how much it will hurt Anemos participation. I was eventually going to go back there to gather up the rest of the SB gear, but now I won't have to and I never have to set foot in there again.
The spearfishing minigame actually makes fishing look fun. I hope they will extend the minigame aspect to the rest of gatherers.
I'm in love with the tall alien cactuars. I hope there is a minion for them!
Overall, just very excited for EW.
We also don't know if the change is going to be retroactive or not.
A new system has been added allowing players to dye artifact gear after progressing to a certain point in role quests and the main scenario.
To me, that sounds like it could apply to Shadowbringers AF sets and up. But one thing to keep in mind is Memoria Misera Ex. They might want to keep those rewards in there to keep people running the content. Same with Eureka Anemos. They did say, however, that the base AF weapons from Shadowbringers (Weathered Lionheart, Weathered Fail-Not, etc) will be dyeable in Endwalker, so we might get those at least without having to run MM.
"Last night" I think you might have dreamed those... They've never been on the list of future known unlocks to my awareness, but everything else here was leaked a while back.
Well it is Rydia's outfit... and from "FFIV characters who are mages" your other choices are the twins, Tellah (who is very pink and not that interesting) and Rosa. If you're not happy with Rydia then you definitely don't want Rosa.
The centre front could have done with being more of a curved drape, but ultimately it's a character costume and I guess they don't want to stray too far from the design.

The healer gear was going to be feminine regardless since it's Rosa they are basing it off of. Albeit a bit more tame since her outfits were skimpy in FFIV. Less so in After Years. And Rydia is a fan favorite so her attire will mesh well with both Lalas and general females for Child Rydia, Adult Rydia and the Maenad clones which were low key clones of Rydia.
I don't think it will look good on males but you could go for a nice Wizard look with proper dyes.
In my opinion, if the gear design for healers has not catered to your tastes since the very beginning of the game...it probably never will. Expecting that to change at this point is on you, really. I think they could use a bit more variety, sure, but they clearly have a general design in mind and are sticking with it.
