Obvious troll thread but it does have a kernel of a good idea. The game lets you choose difficulty after the first failure. So a good QoL change could be just give you that choice from the get-go. Since solo duties tend to be rather long and often don't have checkpoints, it lessens the chance someone will get all the way through to the end but fail on the last part.
Something they could even do if they did introduce difficulty choices is they could make a harder version that someone could choose as well.
