Stick jokes aside, thats a pretty good looking stick.

Doesn't much fit with the new spell visuals, but still. Nice stick.

I really like that weapon design. I am a BLM main, and I wish mine was a bit more flashy or didnt make my character hold the staff so high up as it looks a bit weird. But im sure as the weapon progresses, the design will change too. So I will just wait patiently for the next relic upgrade patch ^^

I actually like it, and will use it as a main glamour for my WHM for a while (until they add something else).

5 slots and nice stats but the look yeah I was disappointing in the twig as well I am hoping the BLM and SAM weps look a lil more cooler

DNC weapon was fairly disappointing, too. AST's was neat but in a lacklustre way. I'm guuuueeesssingggg that they'll be revised as they level up. Tbh, I actually like WHM's weapon xD I prefer it over DNC's and AST's but to each their own

It's pretty amazing seeing the responses in here. Seems the player base wants a return to the roots of WHM (pun intended) and going back to the nature aspect of it and not the holy aspect of it.

Something that looks normal can also be beautiful, doesn't have always to be a glowing weapon that lets you look like a walking disco ball.

Never expected so much love in here towards the new WHM weapon, I much prefer the holy-esque route we're going down with ShB WHM and hope it stays that way, not the biggest fan of our new stick for that reason.

That one with the face and chattering mouth creeped me out!!! Haha! Man, that was a long time ago.

Have you never done relics before? It will change over time. And I think everything else was ugly expect for this staff sooo people just have different taste and you can glamour it. Majority of people seem to like it, not diss it like you.

I think it'd be nice to have available as a WHM weapon somewhere and maybe something different here?

But I agree, they've removed the nature element to WHM and gone straight up holy. So it's weird having a nature themed weapon. Yet BLM hasn't lost its elements and hasn't gone full on dark. Thematically, the two jobs are meant to be balanced between the astral and umbral and the elements associated. I don't think WHM should have lost rocks and wind. Having holy related stuff of course makes sense, like BLM having dark stuff too (like foul). Maybe Dia and Glare could have been additional spells instead of upgrades to respect that theme.

As much as I like it, I do admit in comparison with the rest it does feel out of place/underwhelming. I mean, maybe if instead of bandages it had some golden ring adornments or something that made it seem like it was crafted/selected/blessed to be made into a weapon and not just a literal random branch you chop off the closest tree lol

I know what you mean. When I look at the stick, I don't expect it to be from FFXIV but rather from Zelda The Wind Waker or the Rune Factory series.

Its better than the gun I got as MCH. Now the SMN book is quite cool.

Yeah... the MCH gun looks more like a super soaker than a legit gun. That said for all the joking I made of the WHM staff just being a stick over all the design of it is well done, and honestly looks good.

I like the design of the cane itself, I just don't understand why it's natured theme AFTER they got rid of WHMs nature based abilities. Stone and aero (both of them). The only ability they still have us fluid aura, and most WHMs I know don't even bother putting they garbage on their hotbars.

I just wanted to point that out too. Clearly the Late Allagan Striking/Maiming/Scouting set. On a WHM.

Also, I think this weapon looks fantastic. WHM's have it so good and don't even realize it, there is a good amount of variety of weapons available for you, including some joke weapons. Many other jobs get nothing of the sort.

Don't worry. The final step will look awesome and all the good looking first steps will look terrible. >.>

I tried to hate it when I first saw it but idk. There's something about it that I really like.

I don't plan on getting one, but that's only because the Aymur Anemos is already about as perfect a look as you can get for my WHM theme.

I actually like the design.
Honestly, if this wasn't FFXIV i would be disappointed by it, because it looks like something that you would typically find in some dungeon.

But seeing all the previous relics and the predominant metallic materials, i'm actually happy to see something drastically different this time.

My only worry is that, right now i think it's really fitting as the first step for a relic weapon ; Not extravagant, but has its personality. So it's a really good base weapon to progressively build off a real badass relic from. However, if they get it wrong, it also has the potential to become the most horrendous looking relic in the game imo.

I actually like the White Mage relic a ton. It's okay to try new things and as many have stated they really like this design. Not everything is going to match completely with your tastes.

Looks unique. What does DRK get, another dark sword.

To be slightly fair, glamour is the most important part of a relic ultimately, since its only BiS for a brief time.
