I think a lot of people just hate the inconsistency of the bust slider being the only real existing slider to influence body shape.
It would be easier at this point for Square Enix to simply remove the bust slider and set all bust values to 50%.

Having control over your bust size and visibility is different than genital enhancement. Butt sliders is more equal to bust sliders than bulge is.
Booty for everyone, I say. And one tasteful bulge to rule them all.
But then it'd be a even bigger issue due to how even more "samey" every character would look. Every race is usually plagued with not only very few race options but even as far as hairstyles go, you see the same 6-7 styles per race being used with the only difference being haircolor and the glam outfits.
To argue for consistency would also mean you'd have to ask that lalafell females "bust slider" works in a easily noticeable way, and I know how many pitchforks that would raise.
Please no. Men in Lycra is bad enough irl, I absolutely don't want it in game too.
They aren't going to implement a bulge slider the character creator already has limited memory issues. If they add anything to customization it won't be that. That's not to say they can't design clothing which shows a bit down under.
I'd be ok with 'anatomically correct' pants in general tbh, not just the skimpy ones. I'm not asking for a noticeable melon size stuff that you only see on the modder community, but just a little SOMETHING. As I said in a similar thread, every single female would complain if suddenly we get a chest piece that makes females as flat as a Lalafell regardless of their bust size.
Yeah yeah, one is a mammalian gland and the other an actual reproductive organ, spare me the details, at the end of the day both are still just a bump covered by clothing, why glorify one when shunning the other?
On a similar note: 2B's underwear may increase female butts but it shrinks the butt when males use it, that alone is quite a double standard
(the one I tried over to realize this just happened to be red, don't judge me lol)
Hi and welcome to incels anonymous where we wish for bulge sliders for the fifth time this week.
We don't necessarily need a bulge slider, though a tasteful bulge being built into more gear when used by male characters would be pretty neat. The lack of visible nipples and a bulge on the male character models is just strange - and games such as Overwatch have managed to implement tasteful bulges into certain character outfits without any issues.
It's just unfortunate that the FFXIV community - as evidenced by some of the responses to his very thread - contains a lot of selfish players who have a strange aversion to male anatomy and lash out at any who actually like it themselves.
The two are different, details aside, in that most of the time said bump is not visible. Unless a person is wearing super tight pants or certain underwear, or unless they are spicy excited, you’re not gonna see anything. Whereas it is extremely difficult for most people with breasts to make it appear that they don’t have any at all in most clothing, even if it is oversized. There is already armor that rightfully makes the bust appear to disappear or be smaller. If SE gave us a sports bra, I wouldn’t be mad if they made the bust smaller while wearing it. In fact one of the swimsuit tops is cut differently and does make my bust appear smaller...not that I care or anything!!!! Shut up!!!! :p
Also whoever made that decision to not only deprive male characters of the 2B booty, but to take away booty, is a coward and a criminal and must be stopped. There really is no excuse for it. Y’all got robbed.
2Booty did nothing wrong.
Signed/Liked. Please add to the game for transgender people
I suppose they could add a codpiece option to gear..
God no I dont want to look at a catgirl with a willy
As much as I'd love for the character creation to get updated, I feel it'll never come unless we give up the entirety of an expansion, as their staff doesn't seem to be gaining more anytime soon? So if I'm being a pessimist the game may not get an update to that until it's on its final leg and we're all migrating over to the next FF MMO.
What the actual [censored] am I reading about here...
Age of Conan is over there ------------------->
We've been asking for butt sliders for years. The best you're going to get is a leg piece that's extra spikey.
Rated T for Teen, and even with having that rating the game can be pretty dark and inappropriate sometimes. Same could be said about WoW, too. None of it bothers me regardless, but to claim this game is family friendly is...incorrect at points. But by MMO standards it is still pretty tame. Probably the most tame MMO I've played in a long time. I would probably say the ARR MSQ was pretty family friendly though. I've seen darker villains in movies like Frozen. lol
Basically this- butts/breast sliders tend to make sense since in tasteful clothes, whether IRL or in a fantasy world, you're going to see those proportions. You're not going to see someone's junk and you're risking censorship in a lot of countries because you're intentionally crossing into pornography by doing so.
Not sure how people are even comparing the two.
A "junk" slider isn't really necessary. However... the basic male model should not be as flat as a ken doll. It's a biological fact that males have something there. There's nothing "family unfriendly" in having the male character model reflect that biological truth. It doesn't have to be gratuitously large, but there should be "something" there as opposed to the "nothing" we currently have.
If even the slightest three dimensional hint of male genitalia is not "family friendly" then why doesn't the civilized world require men to "tuck" when they go out in public? The answer is simple... because that would be ridiculous. And it's just as ridiculous to create a game character model, that is supposed to be representative of a male, that has a groin area as flat as a board.
Or... They could just change the models to add something there.
game needs more puffy vulvas
I wouldn't be against this feature but I would be surprised if the game could keep its age rating for teen while having it. I don't think I have come across a game with this sort of option that wasn't rated for adults. If bringing in this feature would force an age rating change, I can see this being one of the reasons why SE would choose to not introduce it.
I'm not sure how you can say that in any kind of honest way.
You can't tell me, when looking at a male in this game, that there isn't a distinct LACK of "something" there:

The groin area should not be that flat on a male character. Even a flaccid male is not that flat. About the only males that flat are drag queens after tucking.
100 on the bulge slider is the same size as a lalafell head. And yes even on lalafell.
IMO should be bulge slider for male AND female if they're going to do it.
I support this on paper, but on the other hand, if left my femroe with a flat crotch I'd just get even more comments from other players crying in disappointment over me not being a futa. 8(
