Not really, there is already plenty of gear in this game that covers up several slots for glam, they could do the exact same thing with a one-piece swimsuit.

both literally covering and just make things disappear. Many gloves seem to have a "don't show rings" attribute, even several that should show them. And there a various other examples of this.

TIL that women's normal swimwear is skanky and trashy. :D People will always be there to remind us that tank armor should look like it could actually protect you from attackers but conveniently forget what realistic outfits for swimming look like. I guess the female form is just too shocking since swim shorts and topless men aren't getting mentioned and only the bikinis are.

Honestly, I love it the way it is and personally am happy they went with the less revealing route.
Don't get me wrong though because I do love more revealing outfits sometimes, but with this theme I feel it wouldn't quite fit.

(But.. why is everyone talking about swimwear though? It's obviously not a swimming piece so why compare it to one?)

Yeah for a Happi it's pretty revealing!

i just wish male characters had a good pair of shorts that matched the set but our spring pants from fashion report become a set of jeans instead

Because it's a topic about how the female happi looks different from that in the artwork? I don't think anyone is knocking the female form at all. That's why the topic in general is focused on female clothing <_>.

Agreed - Happi is definitely not swimwear. I think people in general are just equating the summerfest with swimwear as opposed to summerfest and summer-style clothing (whether that be festival wear or whatever).

There's a lot of people that had nuanced opinions too. It's nice to have choice, this year it's not a new "skanky" bikini, last two years it was. I'm happy it's no just a reused model like the Shisui gear from last year event and I don't get why people complain. I hardly see bikini glams except in summer and the going to be new gear next year..

Pagos Gaskins (Or the Arachne Gaskins that share the same model).

Buy the freaking skirt, all the old event items are in mogstation and requires real moneys for not being there on that event day :)) and just wear the basic black bikini so you can be as skimpy as you are
