But where do AF come from? Don't seem to be enough quests to give out Abilitys and AFs.
There's enough quests. The quests they listed were for the skills. They stated there's a quest starting at 45 for you to obtain the AF.
Some nice hints as to which quests will be for the AF gear are ones like the MNK quest Five Easy Pieces, the BRD quest Pieces of the Past, and the BLM quest Gearing Up. :cool:

Intra-City teleport: Key items for each GC to travel in its corresponding city. I thought there was a dev/rep response stating that the teleports weren't going to be locked down like this? I know there was some heated debate about it among the JPs.
Chocobo Barding: I know they said there's no actual function for this right now, but there's three different kinds of barding available at the moment. Wonder what difference this will make in the future...
Everything else looks pretty cool. I think one of my other questions were if you would be able to use all of the bard buffs at once, but I believe that will be the case since there are only two songs that can be used very frequently, and the other is TP based.
Sad they took the sap skill away from MNK, also MNK is gonna have the lowest cool down on ws with FoW and Keen flurry... SEXY.

SE has reused armour/weapon names in various FF games. I'm fine with a bit FF naming convention re-use.

They never "took away" any abilities, because they weren't named before today, everyone took an unofficial list as what we would be getting, after the debate about a charge ability from MNK we were linked to ffxivpro for a list of actions.
This is why unofficial lists should not be made ppl just get hyped up about them.

The list with Sap on was an UNOFFICIAL list, ie not released by SE, you for some reason thought it was all going to happen, because it was online, I only take things from devs or reps as what will happen, not third party websites.
If you wanna prove me wrong link me to the page that says "Hai peeps MNK will get Sap"

People tend to ignore that because it kills their ability to complain.
Nothing that indicates "Sapping anything" in the description, more like sustained paralyse.
While sap does mean "to weaken" anything that indicates weakening a mob could be persived as Sap.
And damn you for calling me out Holy, wait till we get in LS tonight...
But its the only time we have heard from SE about the job abilities, and to me it still seems relevent to the argument that we haven't got Sap so SE can't take it away.

Yes, "Sap" could have been cut on the editing floor. It might show up, it might never appear at all. You just never know. Having never been actively in the game though, I don't think you can call the skill "removed."
