In the far flung future when we return to The Source and either wreck the Empire or help/rebuild places they've destroyed...
Dalmasca!

Ishgard is 100% my second and far more likely pick though. <3
I'd say either airship housing or underground housing.
Dun Scathe... or some other as of yet to be released gothic place. Ishgard isn't gothic enough for me to want to live there... maybe since we are getting to go to the 1st shard we could get housing on the 13th shard?
Housing in the new areas would be so pretty!! Ishgard is meh for me....
I've wanted Idyllshire to have a housing district that is similar in style to the Dravanian Hinterlands. It will probably never happen, which is a shame because it used to be a City State in Eorzea and has a lot of room for more map space.
Bit of a tangent but I've always wondered about cliff side housing district, one that hangs off the edge looking out at the great expanse view - and figured you might be able to apply that to the one Idyllshire has/is. With some internally decorated hub within the rock structure and perhaps some internal cavern houses as well with finally an exit straight into Idyllshire.
You get both caves and pretty dang high off the ground views at one time lol.
Ishgard. It would be dumb to live on first world. It just doesnt fit right
I want a house in T13 with Bahamut as neighbour.
Garlemald, obviously.
...buuuut that's probably a few expansions away, so closer to 5.0 I'd settle for instanced airship housing. I'd love to have my own Prima Vista <3
I would like an instanced flying airship housing option as well. Maybe even some quests that allow you to expand or upgrade the land. Like say you get a small little run down island out in the sea of clouds somewhere and as you progress in quests you can spruce it up, maybe build structures onto it to connect to other smaller Islands. I mean they mentioned player farms so maybe you could get a smaller island attached to act like a farm. And they could finally unlock the FC workshops for individuals and give you like a airship parking area as well.
I want to live on the moon.
Never going to happen but give me a piece of land in the Azim Steppe. I want to live in a yurt that's, disgustingly, impossibly elaborate on the inside
For starters, here are a few examples of where I will live... and yes, they are all aerial.
And it is all because ever since I first played FFXII in 2006, I've been mesmerized by Bhujerba...

Sea of clouds so we can have our own personal housing that doesn't require a strict limit of wards. Each person gets their own personal island where they can start with a small house and work up to a large house if they put enough resources into it.
I still want Ishgard ward. >: Please SE, gimme a nice and cozy cottage in the snow.
It's a thought I had a long time ago ....
Instanced Housing in our own Private Airship. They could be different sizes/types and maybe dock at certain Cities to change the background scenery or something.
Im still salty over Idyllshire not beeing a housing area.
Should definitely get Ishgard first.
Second priority would probably be the Crystarium.
We already have Shirogane so I wouldn't want Doma.
Alamhigo could be a contender, but I personally think it would look quite boring, not too dissimilar from the Goblet.
If they ever release Thavnair i would love to move there, assuming it is as beautiful as i think it would be. Idyllshire would be amazing as well, I love the Sharlayan style. I am 100% digging the idea of Sea of Clouds or any of the Floating zones so people can have their own private floating island homes. I feel like the Sea of clouds or Airships would need to be instanced housing wards or the wards would need to be smaller due to the visual limitations and stress a huge ward would put on the server. But who knows.
I'm easy. I just want some proper instanced housing :3

Such a good housing system ! :3

I would like to have a housing district in the Ruby Sea. There are a lot of land options you could use as a ward, or even have underwater housing in those bubble domes.
One of the new areas possibly, but Ishgard is a possibility as well. It will be getting renovated so to say so may look better :)
Not Ishgard. The place is cold, gray, depressing.. Constant winter. You wouldn't be able to have garden patches there either, unless they introduce greenhouses.
Also, not really interested in a house, since I find them claustrophobic. I'd rather have the option to take a large lot, and fill it with garden patches to make a farm. Add a small garden shed to store stuff in, and I'd be happy with it.
Oh, and instanced of course, so I don't have to complete with other players just to get one.
If they made it only available to those that complete the ishgard rebuilding quests however...
It would never happen, but I would gleefully bathe in the tsunami of salt to follow such a thing.
I'm very happy with my small cottage in Lavender Beds (though a medium house in Lavender Beds would be nice too) - just the right amount of greenery there. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new housing wards will look like though :)
I'm hoping for Ishguard becaues if I ever finally get my first house, I'd like it to be somewhere where it snowed.
We've already got the seaside, forest, desert, and far east themed. I'd really like a more Northern European aesthetic.
Is hard! I want to live in a snowy area!
I'd love to live in Ishgard. The city is beautiful, the music is godlike, and I love the aesthetic.
Doesn't really matter, seeing as it will all be sucked up by the housing hoarders 1 minute after the server comes up.
I had a medium house in Lavender Beds back on Diabolos before I moved servers. It was a nice plot too, I think it was 16 (not sure the exact plot number)? It was seated right by the lake, and had a MD close by. One day I'll clear housing savage again.
Not sure I get the appeal of Ishgard, maybe people would prefer a gloomy snowy area. It would at least be very different. LL honestly spoiled me. Nothing is better then being right on the beach.
As for a new location, maybe Mor or even Idyllshire. Just so we could maybe have unique terrain of either say floating rocks or crystal areas.
