Yes, seriously. Some of those nodes you just need to throw bodies at them to get somebody there to set HP. After that it's a raise fest.

Sacrificing is the easiest and fastest way in a big group, especially when you have people not skilled in dodging aggro. They can all be gotten solo (that's how i got mine), but it's a pain and a half and takes forever. Of course the people with the nodes already will be the first sacrifices.

It's because some of the nodes are guarded by things that are high enough level to kill even a buffed up lvl 50, and *nearly* impossible to avoid. So, by working in a group, one person can draw their attention while the others run past. And then the survivors come back and raise the sacrifice.

What time during the day should we do the nodes/gate hunt?

This sounds dangeorusly fun! Not dangerously, but dangeorusly!

Alright, so now that we've a list of events, it seems time to start mapping out when they'll be. This is a tentative schedule, and completely open for feedback and changes.

11am EST/8am PST/4pm GMT - Goobue Run

1pm EST/10am PST/6pm GMT - Aetheral Gate & Node Hunting Expedition / Gathering Parties?

3pm EST/Noon PST/8pm GMT/7am EDT - Clear Cutting Run

5pm EST/2pm PST/10pm GMT/9am EDT - Storming the Strongholds

7pm EST/4pm PST/Midnight GMT/11am EDT - Mor Dhona Danger Race

8pm EST/5pm PST/2am GMT/Noon EDT - Underwear Run

10pm EST/7pm PST/2pm EDT -Rainbow Basilisk Killing

Midnight EST/9pm PST/4pm EDT - World Wide NM Hunts

2am EST/ 11pm PST/6pm EDT - Ending Celebration

Crafting party could pry be a continuous thing in town, for players who are less inclined to go kill stuff. If we designated a certain spot, for example, everyone could go craft there for the day. Around the fountain in Uldah, perhaps?

Are gathering parties feasible? With botany, for example, don't the resources run out faster if multiple people work on it? (I don't do a great deal of gathering, so if someone who does could deliberate on this?)

Does the overall time frame seem okay? Do we want to shift it one way or another, or expand it by repeating events? Do some events need to take more/less time? Are there any particular events that should be shifted around?

you'd have to do video of a like a conga line, because not everyone will render at once. :P

Yeah, well I mean everyone is completely free to take SS thru the day and events and stuff. Really, the whole point of this is to have fun, so if you're doing that, you're doing it right. :)

I'll do my best to take some SS of the events, and I encourage other people to as well, if they want to. :D We can share them here after the event happens.

A few of us from Light are planning on attending this :) Some of us wont be able to make it to the earlier events, but I'd be happy to help gather some SS for the events I attend :D

Yeah, sorry about that. I'm trying to make the schedule fair enough that everyone should be able to attend at least some events. Due to the nature of people playing from all over the world, it'd be pretty hard for everyone to make everything. I did try to keep European and Oceanic players in mind though!

Where are most of your players from, out of curiosity?

Maybe when the patch comes out there will be more stuff to do, and we can tack a couple more events onto the bottom or top. We'll see.

No worries, I understand completely! Our shell actually has members from all over so, I can sympathize with the issue of not being able to set things up for every time frame, hehe. The majority of us seem to be on the East Coast, but there are a few on the West, as well as in the UK.

We're looking forward to participating in the events that we can though :D!

Alright! Well, since there haven't been any major objections to the schedule, I guess we'll finalize it as that. I'll hammer out the details and write a brief description of each event (and the rules) in the next couple days. :)
