This in a way is epic RPing. Gathering a band of people together and hunting down a monster once thought to be indestructible.

...as far as item drops...if there were items it did drop it's not unique since otherwise the haxxors would have extracted the data for the item already and posted it on those database sites.

To the people involved, do you know the names of the people who had the claim when killed (who got the 78 exp)? I'd be interested to see if their lodestone history reveals anything for killing a guardian.

And technically, only creatures with a silver HP bar like the Eyes in Dezmael are invincible. Everything else should be killable ... somehow

Guardian of the Grove slained

Here's a video of the fight. would had uploaded this sooner but I've been sick and we've had a blackout due to a snowstorm

Hmm... Not much of a fight when you basically stun lock it... Basically FF14's version of Absolute Virtue before they nerfed Blood Weapon damage on it so you could stun lock it & burn it down w/o it fighting back much. All in all good job though.

Only "bad" outcome I see coming in the future is them nerfing Wrist Flick's stun. Especially if they allow more than 8 people to do something in an open world setting, all you would have to do is stun lock it to beat it.

Hopefully they make Odin 100% resistant to stun... Otherwise I see people using this exact same strategy on Odin Prime since it will be open world.
