The times you were "that" kind of player...

Feels like I'm going inside a confessional booth:

-Bailed on Sas and Toto nm as a tank because none of my party members were new and I would rather spend my lockout time crafting/gathering than being bored to death for almost nothing. You'd think by now I've stopped doing this. I still think that if no one in my party willingly cued for Sas and the lowest lvled person in my party is 65, then it's DF's lvling roulette algorithn that's at fault

-Failed to resist a microsleep and awoke four hours and a half later during an 8man trial where I was main tank.

-Had a choice between resurrecting my co healer, a red mage for further res support and even a bard because his refresh cd was finished. I chose the drg.
-Type of player when they say move to the left to execute a mech, I move right.

-Never ask me to do a color based mech that involves colors like purple and blue, orange and yellow, red and pink. It will never go well...for the first 250 times.

-I only listen to the advice that is actually relevant to the current situation we're in. Start talking about a capped lvl rotation while all I need to know at the moment is how many times should I use basic aggro moves while I'm a lowbie and you've lost me.

i was all of these once except the complete butt, i can't be bothered plugging in my keyboard XD

Pulling before the tank is normally an accident, only done ONCE on purpose when the tank was being slow and rp walking because someone won the tank chest because he hit greed on it

for some of my jobs.. i don't know the rotation perfectly, i know my rotation to work but i have no in game way to know how to get better and i can't wrap my head around guides.

The advice was for one dungeon, where it was the sun moon stack like mechanic, there was 3 and i assumed if they were full it wouldn't hurt, i was wrong.

all basic mistakes though.

I have many idiot moments. I just try my best.

When I first started, it wasn't common for healers to dps. So I didn't stance dance in the early days. And once I did, 9 times out of 10 the tank died because I was healing in it.

when i first started the game during the free trial back in january / december i chose gladiator cuz swords and stuff, i never knew that it was a tanking job until i went into the first dungeon. luckily the people there were patient with me and taught me the basics and emnity control and when i bought CC i wanted to play samurai so i bought a booster for paladin since i was already familiar with gladiator.

my proudest stupidest achievement is when i realized during Garuda Extreme that job crystals were a thing and that you had to equip them, i played a lot of red mage(i ended up loving RDM more than SAM for story progression but i did some stuff as sam/pld here and there in heavensward) and managed to off-tank Garuda EX as gladiator since when switching weapons for classes and rec. gear equipping that you didnt get the job crystal with it.

i also learned that bosses cleave when auto attacking during Shiva EX that was the first trial i main-tanked it and that bow stance could pretty much instakill everyone.
after those major events im convinced to be a professional idiot, in the good sense. i also learned to troll a bit with shirk but i only do that with my friends from my fc for the lols
