TBH, tether mechanics were the hardest for me to get down, and I constantly had trouble with them. What I quickly noticed was that player to player tethers were never red, and like enemy tethers, they are cancelled out when spread too far apart. Because of this, I can totally understand that when a player sees themselves tethered, their initial reaction is to get away from everyone else, regardless of the tether color.
I can take step back with this one, and acknowledge that tethers bring different and varied mechanics. However, if there is a player to player tether that is red, please point it out to me.
