Tbh I've heard some ppl wanting something similar, but it regards savage raiding and it was in another time too probably SE is catering to those, that said I blame wow on this too since legion and in a small part wod introduced the damn "I'll release the patch 1 bit at a time so you don't burn out" behavior.
It's a way to combat content drought in a way, but damn if I could only go back to the time where I was in control in how much I would play and how quick I would reach a goal.

Savage is understandable. The World First groups want a chance to prepare all their crafted gear, jump into normal a couple times to get a feel for potential Savage mechanics and maybe do the MSQ or Primal. Delaying Heaven on High is SE assuming casual players won't have enough time.

It honestly sounds like 4.3 is coming with a lot of good stuff. Really about time there were cross-world linkshells and I'm psyched that the glamour dresser is getting fixed so you can get your items back. Now I can finally dump stuff in there and glamour over leveling gear without worry (though I'll give it a few days just to make sure any potential bugs are ironed out).

Not at Stormblood yet, but can't wait to catch up and see the story additions!

It's cheesed just the same, crafting for leves is not much better because you just abuse a handful of them. There's really no point to craft otherwise, the ingredients for most things are absurd starting from the 50s on, and you rarely have the skill to HQ on the leveling journey. You can get from 60-70 by abusing single leves usually.

The namazu...what is there to like about them? We know little about them, and the only way they figure in the main quest is the one guy who rips you off. You can do a side quest with one more of them who wants to be a merchant but has no business sense, but they and the lupin really aren't as integrated into the main quest as the moogles and the vanu are. They aren't adversaries like the ARR tribes, and they are just...there. No idea what their primals are, and they really didn't be any part of the coalition to retake doma.

As for stuff, teh crafting tribes and definitely deep dungeon, especially if the focus is on hard content over leveling. We need kind of alternative grindy stuff to work on besides leveling that we can do as combat classes.

It was for savage yes but the reasoning was more about taking part on the MSQ and other things, since thye get to do so late they kinda gets the spoilers one way or the other, that said It was during midas that was said and the savage scene was very different.
As for heaven on high and eureka, all true, I can only speculate that this way we'll have enough to do to sate the 2 months and half before 4.4 but that's just an hypothesys

There's a side-quest chain in Yanxia that's unlocked after you complete a couple of side-quests in Namai (which after you've edited your post I see you've actually done). It'll likely be a requirement to their tribe quests like how you had to complete both story side quest chains in Fringes for the Ananta. Not only is it cute in its own right (imo at least, ymmv), but like most such quests it unlocks other side quests in the Yuzuka Manor. Among the things you learn there is how the Namazu tie into the end of the bloody war that ravaged Yanxia, and why they wear the bells around their necks. Also they have magic abilities in their whiskers.
Naturally ymmv about how much you like it, but even before their tribe quests are out, I wouldn't say we know little about them. We actually know quite a bit, and get to interact with them besides.

Out of the 100 floors, 70 are equivalent to PotD's 101+ as they were described as difficult 4-player content in the live letter.

Bigger glamour dresser? Yes, please.

I always do the MSQ stuff first, so that's what I'm looking forward to with 4.3.

I'm usually only excited for class adjustments, savage/ultimate, and the hopes of actual customizable features and haristyles everything is else is meh....

-MSQ? Yeah okay, I am slightly curious to see what's happening next. Certainly not "excited" to learn what will happen next. I'm invested in other media series to fill that void.
-New Trials/Dungeons stopped being something for me to look forward to because they're only something interesting the 1st time or 2 before they feel monotonous, especially if you decide to "farm" anything.
-Same with the Beast Tribes. Even if this is a crafting tribe, it probably will still amount to "fly here, now fly there, craft 2 of these in under a minute, fly back there." I also don't find their stories all that compelling throughout. Oh well, easy exp for non-70 DoHs.

But I do look forward to the new floors of Deep Dungeon and the new Eureka zone. Deep Dungeon has always been a little less straightforward and varied based on your teammates and I would like to see if they've adjusted anything in Eureka based on feedback, and of course the initial exploration.

Also looking forward to the QoL updates. For a game so invested in the Duty Finder instances rather than server-side activities, the cross-world linkshells are a much-needed addition. The Glamour Dresser updates are a welcome improvement and the guestbook?... Eh, yeah, some people will get mileage out of it probably.

Most likely 4.35 but i don't buy it SE. Release everything if it ready. It's up to us players whenever we want to consume everything in one week or not.

Although it's a shame it's limited to 61+, could have at least made it 50+. As much as I like it I have pretty much run PotD1 into the ground.

I'm pretty excited for the new 24-man raid, the next part of the MSQ, the new Eureka content, trying out Heaven-on-High and all the new glamours that'll come with this content.

Kinda weird don't you think. You need to be 60+ to access it in the first place. Also it would work against them when we have Palace of the Dead.

Looking forward to the dresser changes. I'll finally use the dresser and fre up space in my inventory and retainers. Even if I never take the gear out I never liked the idea of losing it once it was put in either. So total stoked for this implementation.

The guestbook is a cool feature being added. The 24 man with the Greed All will be something i try out and then say %#^@ this, lol
Anxious for Deep Dungeons and new Beast Tribe which is something i have wanted and suggested for sometime now, a Beast Tribe with both dol and doh :)

PotD doesn't give such good exp when you're at those levels though, does it? And since you need to be 61+ to even gain access to the area Heaven On High's in, it makes sense.

Hopefully they buff XP of POTD when you ding 60 until you hit 61 to make way for Heaven on High. Then 61-70 is HoH territory. I'm gonna be annoyed if HoH gets held back though...

Not happy about the All Greed change coming for Alliances - considering I usually try to go as a healer more often than not, having to now compete with 7 other people instead of just one person for drops is a completely asinine decision that I feel wasn't remotely thought through.

I am, however, looking forward to the new Alliance raid. Rabanastre was great and I can't wait to see what new things and mechanics we'll go up against next.

They really shouldn't delay Heaven-on-High though. Most of the other content will be eaten up within 3 days to a week regardless of any stopgaps they try to put in by holding it back. SE shouldn't really be deciding how much we play or how long we make the new content last. :x

Not really, PotD efficiency starts to drop off around 50+ and limiting it to 61+ means it's only useful for 9 levels instead of the 61 levels PotD is good for. Seems it'll have a much shorter lifespan as a result.

I'd sooner say they catered to people who want the solo achievements (assuming such a thing exists for this as well). The fact only one person managed to solo PotD and on a very specific job is telling.

There are 2 now, that said I don't agree with it, aside the problem of the dmg/self defense needed there's the RNG aspect that was the real wall nothing else.
If you don't have enough defensive pomanders you don't clear it. That said they kept telling how they wanted to give something to chew to ppl wanting harder 4 man content that is different than normal dungeons, so we'll see anyway.

That's the player's fault I think. Towards the end of HW people wound up only running 51-60 because it was the easiest to overgear and level with. So they probably saw the data and figured why make 10 when you only need 3.

The hard thing..oh boy, that's going to be a roll of the dice. I hope at least they will get rid of the need to start over after one death, but this is going to be one big beta test and there is a lot to get wrong.

Don't think they will get rid of it, they kinda lessend it by having to do only 2 sections before the hard stuff compared to 10 hopefully, which would make it less fatigue inducing I think, so If I have to guess for them could be considered fixed by this.
However maybe by hard floor they might simply means that floor 31 is like floor 101, thought they specifically said they wanted more 180+ floor-like content for 4 man in the future, who knows.

I was pretty upset by that as well. But it's true that my friends and I will probably spend ~a week finishing off the MSQ, Alliance raid and possibly the new 8-man fights. Plus Beast Tribe quests and Doman reconstruction will keep us occupied for a bit. I really hope the delay on Deep Dungeon is max 2 weeks though. Preferably less. Even more preferably no delay at all. But I could live with 2 weeks.

It may be a good thing if the new Eureka is disappointing like the old one. Then people have something else to be excited about in patch 4.35.
