I update Ariyala while my friends and I are out hunting, but we are by no means obligated to touch a 3rd party website. There is no reason to police strangers based on imaginary rules. OP harassed strangers and then went out of their way to continue harassing them... and is somehow surprised that they were banned for "trying to help the community"

Im actually glad this has been brought up. I myself have to the terms that of all the things i may have control of on the behemoth server, there is absolutly NOTHING i can do about these 3 people that have NOT ONLY selfeshly sniped arr hunts but also attempt to do the same in Heavensward and now much recently StormBlood hunts as well. It has come to a point where they are extremly well known and the community is fed up with them. But we are afraid to do anything for fear of losing our accounts that we worked real had for. Ao for now our best effort is to keep these people from our linkshells and anyone that says something in the shout chat is to remind them that bad things can happen if you speak out which is super unfortunate

The intent isn't for the community to police themselves, the intent is for no policing to be done at all. As hunts are designed, there is no policing required.

/shrug im an avid early puller on leviathan community, I havent been doing it lately, but most of the "Hunters" on my server sit on their butts waiting for calls either made by hunt community or by me. I dont see why these people should be justified for credit when they dont put in their two cents of work as well. Then again I do early pull as soon as I see the hunt call. Sometimes taking the long way to the mob and people still complain. Its first come first serve homie.:cool:

This is an excellent example of why I barely participate in off-season hunting. And a good example of why I'm gung-ho about purging people from LSes where I have the power, or leaving/removing LSes from my macros when I do not.

All you "hunters" can just bite it. You're just upset another group was more on top of their stuff than you. If they want to get a monopoly by not sharing their kill times, more power to them! I don't get why this community gets upset that a group more dedicated them gets rewards for their work. This is just like all the players that were begging for Neo-Exdeath to be on the normal version of the fight and the glamour options being restricted to UCoB clears. Want the rewards? Do the work.

Now if sniping was under it's actual definition of stealing the tag of a mob like in the good ol' days or stealing someone's kill, you'd have an actual point.

Please stop taking the vocal minority of the minority that posts on the forums as being indicative of the community at large. I'm not even sure that have vs. have-nots was the theme of this thread. It was about some guy getting in the faces of so-called early pullers and getting in trouble for acting like a troll

If ones that's doing hunts never show up after a call it's there own fault for missing the hunt. Like today Gave Stormblood hunt location on hunt ls and not one showed up to it after waiting 30 minutes. Don't see problem if ones snipe a hunt when ones don't want show up on hunt ls.
