Bun Haircut vs Miqo'te

The cat version of the hair is definitely something special, I'm not quite sure how that was considered the best way to accommodate the ears....
I personally don't like the buns at all, and think the hair actually looks really good if you have a hat of some kind to cover them, and would be in full support of a version without them at all.

I was legitimately considering switching off just because I like that hairstyle, but it looks so ridiculous on miqo'te.

On the plus side, it looks very cute on lalafell...

Well seeing those pictures is a disappointment to say the least.

I am not really a fan of the buns on any race but the hair style looks great with hats at least

When a friend told me it looked horrible on Miquotes, I thought nothing of it initially, as none of us play the race for me to see it. That picture in the opening post though...pretty horrendous.

While not a fan of the buns, I like the hairstyle when the buns are hidden. I believe even if they were absent, the hairstyle would look better.

Please fix this SE. T_T It's an amazingly cute hairstyle but the position of the buns is absolutely ridiculous on the Miqo'te.

For Miqo'te they could also leave the buns off, since the ears are there.

I would totally be OK with a no-bun option, although some of the alternate-location pictures posted are kinda cute as well.

The bunless look was what was done when the old Lalafell odango hair was co-opted for Miqo'te girls for 2.0. The ears simply replaced the location of the buns. It looked weird as heck on close-ups since the hair didn't have a proper end. It's not a popular hair style.

Most hairstyles just tack on the ears anyway without much care. The 2.0 ones have better detailing.

TBH I think placing them on the sides of the head is still better looking than making it appear the hair grows back into the head at the ears. Also, SE too care to make the hair texture on Miqo'te meet at the correct place on the bun, verses just moving the bun down and leaving the hair's direction alone, even if the ears are just pasted on top.

I would love a no bun version, to be honest.

Somebody please post an image of your cat in this style along with the fox ears for maximum ridiculousness.

If they get moved they need to change the hair texturing too or it looks just as strange, but in a different way. A no-bun alternate version would be amazing, though.

(I actually quite like the weird position as it's nice seeing exotic looks rather than conventional stuff. But I'm not playing a Miqo'te and my wife, who is, is insane, so I accept that my opinion is not really worth very much here!)

I agree on the texturing and such, taking off the buns would be a better option than having them there.

I saw this ingame on a female miqo'te yesterday and I laughed so hard. It looks really bad on them, in my opinion. :x

Yeah it's a cute hair but...honestly I'd love the buns on top of the ears rather than under them. That would be adorable. Wish they'd done that instead. TBH I love the bangs and the long part.

I laughed pretty hard when I saw the buns on my character.. I felt like my character was trying a really bad cosplay of Princess Leia.

I love the hairstyle without the buns. Either ditch the buns on a Miqo'te or move them to the top of the head...

My co-lead in the FC actually likes how the buns look on their Miqo'te, surprisingly enough. I do think it looks utterly ridiculous though, and do believe they should fix it, or release another version that is fixed instead as some people actually like how it currently looks.
