This doesn't add anything to the topic either. Either way, if this offends you, why not find another thread to post in? Why does people wanting their characters to have normal anatomy offend you so much? I get that there's other things they should do first, but that doesn't make this any less important to some. For me, this isn't all about the butt slider. Character creation itself is pathetic at best and needs to be improved. This would add another option, so yes I'm all for it, among other things.

Actually, we wanted Pokemon in minion form. Travelling the world and collecting minions, and fighting against other adventurers. Instead we got League of Legends with Minions. That's not what we asked for. <_<

I'm a girl irl, so it's not like I'm some perverted guy wanting my character to be eye candy or something but even I think the butts are pretty flat and personally I just think some glamours would look more appealing if the character filled it out better. Especially some pieces that have space for a bigger bum but are just floating there with awkward empty space.

I don't think it's pathetic for people to voice their opinion on the matter. There's no need to be rude to one another.

I really, REALLY don't care if you're a female or a transformer. I have no clue how that adds anything to this besides you wanting attention for it.
Like I said before, the butt difference is not noticeable unless you zoom in on one. I think it's rather odd for anyone to do that, so that's why I feel like this thread is pathetic.

Furthermore, I feel like you saying that a smaller butt makes an outfit looks worse, is very demeaning towards women with a petite buttocks.

Because there's no skimpy glamour pieces anywhere in the game, right? This is a game where people are free to make and dress their characters as they please. Some dress them fully, others as little as humanly possible. I've seen this on male AND female characters alike. I've even seen people playing male characters wanting a butt slider. Why does a slider or at least the concept of one bother you? There is nothing offensive about it. It's making you look like a fool and neither of you (maybe just 1?) are adding absolutely anything productive here. Options are options and people want them. I certainly do, and I'm hardly focused on the butt slider. Only reason I'm bringing it up is because it's A. Part of the topic, and B. People are viewing it offensively when there's no reason to do so.

Um. It isn't demeaning toward women; everyone has their own preferences and I said "PERSONALLY I think". It is my opinion. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with "petite buttocks", but we are all entitled to like different things and think different things look good. And again, I think it's strange of you to cry something is "offensive" when you're calling everyone here pathetic. Also, what do you care if other girls are doing something for attention? lol. Everyone can do as they please.

What if someone just wanted their character to look more like them and they have a bigger bum? I have a small chest so I gave my character a small one too. I don't have a flat bum. I don't want my character to have one. What's wrong with that?? She also has brown hair and glasses because I wanted her to look a bit more like my persona which looks similar to me.

I would much appreciate if they did add a reasonable butt slider, like to at least make them look a bit more realistic looking. They look weird right now. There's also the fact that our characters are out and about doing a lot of running, there is a reason the term "track-booty" or "athletic-booty" exist.

I agree, it would be nice to have a variety of options. But I think people are focusing on the butt because honestly it's ... extreme in how flat it is? For me personally, I wouldn't care if it were just small but it's almost as if we have negative butt. lol. I get why some people would say this is a silly thing to fixate on but it doesn't hurt anyone to voice opinions and if it's something that could be included with a future update when they are going to upgrade the graphics anyway, why not let people just throw in their two cents and let SE know it's something we want to see? My au ra dude has massive thighs but the butt attached to them is hank hill tier. If you like small butts, congrats! Enjoy the base model. I would like my lizard to have a fuller posterior. imo, crying about character butts being sexualized is moot in a game where my miqo has only ever gotten an itty bitty skirt or pair of panties for WHM gear.

Despite all the requests here and elsewhere, at the last NA fanfest Yoshi said that character customization wasn't a high priority. Dunno if that was a general comment or a 4.0 comments, but I figure if I expect nothing I won't be as disappointed ;-;

They need to allow the sliders to go up to 200% or at least 150%. If they're only gonna give me one new dungeon, may as well use that time to improve the CC.

I agree there is a lot of great gear to pick from on this game that doesn't really show off the butt and maybe some people wear bikinis as their main set but I find that very rare. Most people wear it when they are around a beach setting like in mist. What's so sad about that??? Also, a lot of crafter gear is quite tight and shows off the body. That's just how it is....

Some can argue that it is sexualization but I could also argue that it's sexualization to keep all the women as these skinny minis with no curves (which, I live in Japan and I can tell you this is what the Japanese ideal woman pretty much looks like). Everyone is different and has different preferences as to what is visually pleasing, so yeah, of course that probably carries over to real life to some degree. That doesn't mean there's an issue. I don't see how this is relevant, or why it's demeaning about characters in a video game. Making generalizations does you no favors either. You worry too much about what other people think of your character. It's yours, who cares? I want customization, much more. The butt slider isn't a priority for me, but it's part of the topic, and another possible option. So yes, I support it fully. More faces, body details such as scars, tattoos, etc would be amazing and I would much rather have such things first.

Square Enix destroyed the beautiful figures females had in 1.0, maybe they wanted to reduce polygons or whatever but not everyone is happy with the result, I join the millions of players that would enjoy having the original character models and butt sliders to a smaller amendment, truth be told the current female proportions are not very accurate to what is anatomically correct and/or ideal!...

Koreans are much finer in modeling bodies, SE could learn something from them!...

I can't agree with every single thing in this paragraph more.

As someone who happens to have a bigger lower half in general I want this to happen just so my character can resemble me a bit more. I mean she might be a dragon-lady but she's still the ig representation of me! I'd like this to be an option certainly, anything to make characters a bit more lifelike it great too. I have tried to turn my butt into basically my character's butt for years. It isn't hapoening. It'd be nice to at least be able to do the inverse.

Also I haven't read this whole thread but if someone really called someone else pathetic they need to chill out.
