No amount of "hard work and dedication" would have helped me to circumvent the 20 min login queue on my server this morning. Everything was already gone before I could get in. That's more akin to a housing lottery (see dumb luck).

one house per account rather than per character please choose a main and stick with it. aso im thinking with the apartment system maybe reserve houses for FC' only rather than personal since FC content is gated to these with the workshops and all that.

Well I did make money (desynthesizing, gathering, crafting, farming tomes, treasure maps and stuff...) : had more than enough to buy a medium plot.
I did as fast as I could : woke up 2 hours before end of maintenance.

All my hard work and dedication, all for naught, because they cant deliver more virtual plots of lands.
Most MMO with housing handle this easily, why can't SE do it ?

I worked hard grinding for gil to buy house, but in the end I got a login error and so had to reload game start application and therefore was 1-2 mins behind server start. By that point I was 1400 in queue... and theres only 720 plots total so of course by the time I even log in I check the wards and every plot is taken.

It's like SE doubly failed me both with this terrible noninstanced housing system and with their incredibly bad login server to make me feel just really disappointed I'm actually paying money for this crap.

Sometimes I just wonder how this is the 2nd most played paid MMO after WoW when its run so much worse then many free to play MMOs out there.

Canceled sub anyways. :p

I want four things from SE.
- make the apartments sellable
- put a fixed price on apartments and plots (so that nobody resells them for a high price than original or put a cap)
- separate individual housing plots from FC housing plots.
- increase the residential wards overall
If increasing the plots is not achievable, at least allow gardening in apartments...

Your argument is flawed. Being "walled" by savage/high gear means it is open to EVERYONE. You can do it and if you are good enough you will get past the wall. If you are not good enough, you can get carried or GET GOOD EVENTUALLY. You can try multiple times, every hour, every day, every week and every month.

For housing, there is no getting past the wall. It is not open to everyone. Once is it sold, it is gone. It is luck. Get it mate? I can have 500million and played 200 hours and not get the house because of luck nothing to do with skill and dedication.

Don't go full retard
